Yes I think that is exactly what she is trying to do. So know your ground because companies should never be allowed to get away with this.

  • Well done for dealing with that. Try not to worry your boss is on thin ice, and as I said talk to acas they will be able to advise you on your rights and if it comes to it point you in the direction of some professional help. Ask your union if they provide legal cover and whether you can have their advice, it sounds like you may have a case for discrimination if you are dismissed.

    Hi

With mat leave coming up, it would not be a good idea to do an IVA, IMO. They are suitable for a very small number of people.

When your salary declines, the creditors have to vote whether to continue, or not. If not, you pay £6,000 in fees to the IP and end up with the same amount of debt.

Woa - hold your houses. Don't even think like that. You need to start at the begining :)
Ras has gone off to get you some info. Basically the first thing you need to work out is how much money you have 'spare' each month after you have paid your regular bills - before debt repayment.
I also have to say that at this point you should bear in mind your priorities are:
    1) yourself
    2) your little one to be
    3) your dog
    4) your new partner
    5) keeping all the above warm, fed and clothed and with a roof over your head.

Maintaining a roof over your ex- partners head would be nice too but you have to start with yourself and your new family - your ex was an idiot and he has to face the consequences. The only reason the mortgage on the place lives should be of any concern to you is because you are at the moment jointly responsible for the mortgage.

I did the cccs budget planner & am minus £943 per month now which includes my debts, repayments on which total around £950 per month, so basically all my income goes on paying rent, mgt, council tax utility bills, ground rent, site management fees, fuel for getting to work is £5 per day as I work a good hour from where I live & parking (costs me 2.50 per day) I dont spend anything on myself apart from £25 every 6-8 wks for my hair
When I go on mat leave all we will be able to afford is the rent & council tax here by the skin of our teeth, Ex has said he will cover the mgt while Im on mat leave but only when im on stat pay x
