Hi all,
Thanks for all your replies. baby is due in 4 months
work r still being pests though.
does anyone work in HR? The unbelievable thing is that the forum owner was the one who made those comments!x0 -
Hi Vicxzy
Couldn't just read your posts and leave, like all the others on this thread i wish you the best of luck for you and your baby,on the subject of your work issues i would seriously consider contacting ACAS who will give you very good advice about what companies can and cannot do,there is also a device you can buy that will screen calls to your home landline preventing unwanted calls even being able to make your phone ring,we just bought one of ebay for about £50,i know it sounds a lot the piece of mind knowing they cannot contact you at home is priceless, once again best wishes for your future.:j0 -
Hi Baggie Stan, luckily we dont have a home number

Thats a good device u found though
Thanks for your well wishes, I did try ACAS a while back but they guy I spoke to cpuldnt have sounded more bored if hed tried
He told me to go & ask my employer! lol x0 -
Look on the direct gov website?
The ACAS guy may have told you to ask your employer if you were asking questions which needed answers relating to your company policies rather than employment law? Why not call again and see if someone else answers the phone?
CAB can also give employment advice and there is an employment section on the MSE forums.

Hi there
wow what a terrible set of things to have happened to you. I am so very sorry for you.
Now it was 7 years ago but I got made redundant when I was 6 months pregnant. They had to pay me both redundancy AND maternity pay. That was the only way I wasn't going to take them to court for discrimination. So you have them over a barrel there. As you have been working for them for 2 years, i think you are covered by all the employment law, so they should be VERY careful what they do.
Definitely speak to your HR department. And you should have a return to work interview anyway from your welfare department, not your line manager.
good luck

Hi Guys,
Sorry I have been away for so long, a lot has happened.
As ever thanks for all your support I cannot thank you all enough & tell you how brillliant you are.
The scan went well
I went back to work- big mistake my Boss was so vile to me that I wound up being taken into hospital with high blood pressure as she was screaming at me in front of everyone.
Im currently in the process of putting together formal grievance & Im still signed off work, BP has returned to normal now though after 2 weeks away from the place which just goes to show.
I was served divorce papers by my B of an ex on the grounds of MY unreasonable behaviour (Im unreasonable for having left him after he had an affair apparantly!) so I have that to fight through now too...
I had an offer on my house but its 18k under the asking price, its the only real offer I've had in a year though so I really dont know what to do?
It would leave me with around 16k to pay off 28k of debts
So confused etc.
Love to all xxx0
