  • Hi Viczxy

Can't offer you the kind of expert advice you've already had from the good people of this forum but just wanted to send you my support and hope everything is okay.

I know it won't feel like it now but you will come out of the other side of this.

From reading through your posts it seems:
    - You are at risk of losing a house that you don't live in
    - Risk of losing a job which is making you ill with the boss from hell
    - Are being harrassed by creditors whom you have no realistic way of paying (at least not the amouts you are after)

Sorry, I don't mean for that to sound like I'm being patronising - the point I'm trying to make is that all the things you are trying so hard to cling on to (causing you all the stress which is stopping you from enjoying your pregnancy) are simply not worth it. Worst case you go bankrupt. It sounds like your credit rating is already likely to be shot (and credit is probably the last thing you want anyway). You have somewhere to live, a partner, a baby on the way - everything you need for a new start! If your partner is only on a low income you will be entitled to some help in benefits (after all you will be working bringing up your child).

Please get some proper advice about the options available to you and I'm sure that once a decision is made you will start (bit by bit) to feel better and it will hopeful stop your head swimming and allow you to get some rest before the little one arrives.

Good luck. Hope things start going right for you soon xx

    Hi Viczxy,

I'm new on here so cannot offer any more in the way of constructive help and advice that the fantastic peope on here have already said. Just wanted to let you know that reading your story has really touched me and I wish you all the best for your situation.

No material thing is worth the stress and pressure that you are under at the moment, there is always a way round, even though it may not seem like it sometimes. The health & wellbeing of you and your baby is the most important thing and it's disgraceful of your boss to be coming round to your house while you are off on sick leave, it's just not acceptable.

I hope you have managed to discuss things with your OH and that he is able to be supportive of your situation. The things people have suggested on here such as contacting the debt charities, the Samaritans, your GP, your HR Dept are all things that may seem very hard to do but once you have done it you will feel so much better. If you have a look through some other threads on here in a similar vein to yours, the relief that people experience once they start addressing things one step at a time can be clearly seen in their posts, even after just a few days.

This site is a fantastic support network for people dealing with all sorts of difficult issues. There will always be someone else who has experienced what you're going through (or worse) and come out better the other side, you are not alone. Take comfort from that and know that things will be better for you one day. Use all the resources available to you. We may be strangers but when strangers take the time to offer their support and advice it certainly makes me feel hopeful and grateful!

It would be good to hear from you to know how you're doing, I'm sure there are people who are worried about you, including me. I really wish you all the best of luck, and sending lots of hugs and positive thoughts your way.

    Bear xxx
