Spurred on by this discussion and the thought that I might be missing out on more comps than previously I have spent the past day looking again at the regulars board....... the stickies are fantastic! I entered all the weeklies for the first time in years yesterday with very little trouble and intend to plough through the monthy ones now too.I tried in the past but found it confusing... either I got less stupid or the system has been refined since then:D

Quick question (probably stupid, sorry)...... do the stickies include EVERY current weekly/monthly/daily that is in the pages of the regulars board? If that is the case, I can't see what difference it makes where the orig posts get put, but hey, that might be me making another snap judgement;)

Thanks so much to those who compile the stickies, the board guides and of course those who post the comps/answers. Without you all, most of us wouldn't even BE comping!:A

The daily has all but a couple on (I wasn't sure about the websites as I've never seen them listed on MSE before, and I don't think they were on the old daily thread either [the posts only have a few thanks each] and I made sure all that I removed were ones that weren't listed on websites anymore) but I'll go through the board and make sure everything is on regardless, you'll be able to see which ones I add on as the end dates will be in yellow

I know I have no right to complain, but the last 2 days I have been into the regulars and noticed some comps there that used to be on the main board, The company daily for January for example, I didn't realise it was there until yesterday, thus missed half the month.
I will now however make an effort to go into the regulars more. as I have won a few times on that competition when it was on the main board.

I did used to venture into the regulars, but not every day.

1) I dont think anyone has anything against those 3 threads (Stickies) especially now they're being/been worked on so much and are easier to work with.

2) The problem and the way that IS massively affecting the way people comp is the regs board NOT those threads, comps are being moved off the normal comps forum and so people who used to enter them when they were on the main board aren't able to now unless they go through to the regs board or use those 3 threads but this has been said time and time again in this thread and yet still those who want everything moved cant seem to see the difference between the regs board and the regs stickies/threads and that difference is the important part of this discussion
