It does make interesting reading, cant wait to listen to the telephone conversations, but amazing how they say there are other calls, that they havent recorded, so be nice to see what is missing, particulary as the calls all went through the same number, so must have been on the system to be able to record. As i know their press office has a link to this thread, and obviously taking an interest
If thats so they should to be aware of the damage done ....I certainly would be thinking twiceIt's not just about the money0 -
funny bit i found, was between a internal memo between store, and Executive Relations....[Names redacted] confirmed that the Store would not be providing the customer with a replacement iPhone due to the dangers of setting a precedent.Awaiting Inspiration......................0

Right now i am ready to take apple on in a small claims.
Does anyone know where to get cheap legal advice, as in to make sure forms, and paperwork is in order, as i want to get it right first time. Also need help to find out who exactly to issue the claim aginst, as in address.
I cant really get to a CAB Office, as i work very funny hours, and being a lorry driver am never in the same town for long enough to find one near to where i am.
I asked my local solicitor, who said yeah he would take it on, but he charges 160 quid an hour, lolAwaiting Inspiration......................0 -
You can do it yourself online at moneyclaim.gov.uk
There's information on the website and a help desk you can call/email if you need to.0 -

Here's one you could use:
http://www.consumerdirect.gov.uk/after_you_buy/making-complaint/template-letters/letter_before_action/
Google "letter before action" for more information.0 -

Apple are stupid. They could have just not given the stolen iphone back to the other chap - as the police were present.
Precedent... don't make me laugh, Apple would not have lost out.0 -
There are some other good one liners in the report too, but dont think i should post anymore, till i have gone through the court systemAwaiting Inspiration......................0

Well GOOD NEWS!!!!!
Sent Letter before Action, also offered them ADR - Alternative Dispute Resolution.
No reply, until senior managers have agreed to send me a brand new iPhone 4, as they cant return the original iPhone.
So Result, even though it took plenty of calls, letters to get to this stage.
Must thanks everyone for their advice, especially Lee from Vodaphone, and private messages, which gave me legal advice, so many thanks everyone.Awaiting Inspiration......................0 -
