Yeah, i love the recipe cards, i'm forever trying out new things - i've really got the cooking bug right now.
Just had dinner and i am stuffed!! got some mince left over and wraps so will stretch to one or 2 lunches for the week.
Now you say that you like to try new things and you have the cooking bug? Well cbeeines have some simple recipes on there site. Our girls like the show lets get cooking. It done by a lady called katey. Anyway pop over to there site when you ahve time simple meal for kids but them again we all love kids food dont we!
Have you tryed rabbit? very old style.! and tasty! cooked in the slow cooker with a tin of toms,sweet corn,peas, carrotts, you can always put some lenttles in with it. Serve with sone rice. There are loads of stuff you can do with rabbit. Just dont roast it as it dont roast well.
Pigon is another good wild treat! it use to be called poor mans steak! lovley id raver have pigeon than rabbit to be onest.
We never have wraps at home. But i have to say that im a bit keen on buying the cold ones from shops and cafes. I just dont like the price that they try and rip you off with.
Roast beef joint for us tomorrow that will do me and my wife dinner tomorrow and then the both of use on monday too. And should also do a couple of sandwhichs. Unless i have some of it cold with some mustard and pickels for my supper one night.:jYou can have everything you wont in lfe, If you only help enough other people to get what they wont.:j0 -

Evening everyone
another late one from me. At least it hasn't rained today. Had a bit of a lazy day, dh got ds2 up do I had a lie in till 10am.
Os today has been very little. Dw emptied, ds2 room sorted out. Need to put Christmas decs and spare quilts back into loft tomorrow. Dog was walked, does that count? No cooking tonight as went out to the local curry restaurent, it was lovely ds2 ate loads he tried lots of different starters and had chicken korma and then icecream.

Never had rabbit or pigeon - OH reckons i will find rabbit too gamey. But he'd like an excuse to go out shooting so might see if he can get some.
I love wraps we often buy them in place of bread for something different.
Just checked my ASDA online shop on the compare thingy and they are going to credit me £1.07 as it wasn't 10% cheaper than everywhere else!! not alot of money but nice.
Today's turned into a really good day :j:j
