    Good Morning All

    (((Hester)))

Lovely and peaceful in the house with everyone else still asleep. Will have to wake DS up in mo, he has football this morning.

Have 2 hours on my 2nd job this morning then the rest of the day will be spend pottering and ironing. Have pork kebabs for tea (as long as I remember to get the pork out of the freezer!)

Car is running nicely after its service yesterday, was quite expensive but I havn't had to spend a penny on it all year. The garage does a budget plan so may have a look at that for next year.

Hope you all have great Saturdays.x

    Morning all.
Hester, hope the car gets sorted.
Bitsy, I, too am in danger of getting more stuff down when my beloved forum is down!!!!

Decided today is the day to sort out the car insurance. I know the computer does it, and I just have to sit here and type, but I hate doing it anyway.
Going to have a look for carpets online. Have to do both our bedrooms. Want to see if it's possible to do it cheaper online.
Just kids and I here today so lunch and dinner will be something veggie from the freezer, with mash and veg. dh at work til 8, so he has his dinner away with him.
I may do some washing and actually put it out on the line. The house has been like a chinese laundry for ages, but it is dry and blowy out today, and the flagstones are getting dry looking, so I think I will go for it! I will be eternally grateful for the MSE'er who pointed out that if the flagstones are wet, even when it's not raining, the washing will never dry. It has saved me so much time this year.

  • Morning All,

BargainBird has started the daily on her FB page too ;):D

Just seen DS1 off to his football match, DH is at work - his van wouldn't start and the central locking won't work, but the inside lights come on when the door opens, very odd, so he's in a right mood and running about an hour late is it bad that as soon as he left I :rotfl: DS2 is going to his club today, and then I need to do some shopping, and DS1 has a birthday party this afternoon, busy busy day. Oops and its persisting :(

Hope you feel OK soon Lily, hugs to all who are under the weather, have a lovely Saturday, see you tomorrow :D

Oh, Flutterbyuk25, enjoy your fish pedicure. I hope you like it. Gives me the heebie-jeebies thinking about it. When I was in Turkey on holiday a few years ago, we got it for free every day in the sea. I hated it, but DD1 and dh loved it. I think, if you don't mind things 'fiddling' with you, you will love it. Think of the lovely smooth feet you will end up with.
By the way, it doesn't hurt at all. They just sort of suck at your skin.

Rather you than me then. We have one of those places opened up in our local mall. I stare in fascinated wonder at the people sitting there getting it done. And you're on show for the whole shopping centre to see you getting tickled!!!!!!
    Enjoy!!!!! See everyone tomorrow!

  • Morning all! My first time posting on the daily thread...

Sprained my ankle on Thurs and trying to rest it but Saturday is my "doing" day - housework, baking, batch cooking etc, and no forum to distract me while I'm sitting down!

Going to do my meal plan and then try to do my usual stuff - just with a few breaks.

Having some shelves delivered later (ebay bargain), they are flatpacked but I think I will leave those for a special treat for OH when he is off work tomorrow!

    Have a good Saturday all!

    Morning all,

Not been on for a couple of days, busy at work. DD is much better and was back at school for the last 3 days. Still on anti b's though.

Have got some chicken out the freezer to make a curry with tonight, got some indian snacks in there too as they were reduced the other week. Just need to buy some rice today, I'm going to try not to use the car today, I put £20 diesel in last week and it doesn't last long!!! The car was making a bizarre noise yesterday, sounds like water is either in the door or in the sill bit underneath as I could hear it sloshing around!! It's only 4yrs old so I can't understand it!

Have a good day all xx
