Hi everyone - obviously the forum didn't take as long to upgrade as they predicted.

Hester - I've just caught up with the posts from yesterday; I'm so sorry about your diagnosis. Sending lots of (((hugs))).

  • Afternoon all,

Kept myself busy this morning due to the forum being down, thank goodness its back,in the mood to lurk and chat.
Best friend came over for tea and cake today was lovely to have a catch up,with jobs and kids it can be difficult to find the time. She brought her OH and he sat playing playdough with my DD while we chatted so that was nice :D

Quick dinner of burger, chips and veggies-im shattered, such a long and busy week.

Hope your day has been full of smiles and if not have a big hug!!

Aftenoon all, can't say I've been more productive without the forum, tho I did make some soup for my lunch with the chicken stock from yesterday.DH was working, just got home. Its been a funny kind of day, very dark and wet.

My cousin rang to say my Auntie in the nursing home passed away in the early hours.I saw her on Thursday, and knew it wouldn't be long.Don't know when the funeral is yet.

My neighbour came to tell me the man 4 doors down has died from swine flu-only 45 poor chap and just become a grandad:( and was in good health before that.Frightening ,horrible illness.

DH feels like going out for something to eat tonight,so no cooking for me.He's just finished the last of the courgette and stilton soup I made earlier in the week,as he can't last till 8.30 :D

Hester - sorry about the ARMD diagnosis.(((Hugs)))
Flutterby-hope you enjoy the fish experience :)

  • Hya all,
Not too much OSwise here atm. Lunch was "bread & bits" i.e. french bread, salami, sliced ham, tomatoes, cucumber, coleslaw and cheese. Pick and mix what you wand. Fed me, DH, DD1, DSIL, DGSs 1, 2 & 3. Lots of football comings and goings so everyone needed to eat at different times. We usually have this in the summer in sunshine in the garden and call it French lunch. However it was still good in the gloom and gales.
Catch you all tomorrow, hugs Silver x

I thought the form was down today??

anywhoo. Hello all, late one from me today, had a good night last night, it was much needed!! feeling a little delicate today though! No drinking again for a couple of months now!

Not much planned for the day just chilling out. The house is pretty tidy except the kitchen so will attack that later, will wash clothes tomorrow.

Got a £5 waitrose voucher, need to decide to to best spend it. Need onions, and will need lunch meats for OH for the week for packed lunches shame £5 there doesn't stretch like it would in Aldi or even asda.

Got a few watchers on our ebay things, no bids yet, but really hope we do get some!

OH's parents went to america to see relatives and got back yesterday, they got me a lovely watch, OH got a jumper, hot sauce he likes and they got the pup sweet potato jerky! It's a little stinky but he loves it! That will keep him happy this afternoon.

Weighed in today, lost 1.5lbs i think or there abouts this week :) Happy happy. Dinner is supposed to be burritos tonight, i might turn mine into a salad type bowl thing instead of having wraps with it though. OH has gone to his friends farm so not sure when he'll be back.

Might do a test walk tomorrow and see how long it will take to get to work, i bought a ticket last week, but it's a country line with 3 stops and no one checked my ticket once, i could get the train home as there is no machine at that stop so you just buy one on the train if the inspector turns up, but there is a machine/people at my stop so cant do that in the mornings i don't think.

Hugs to all who need them!!
    xx

Good to see that you sound a lot more posative today:)

Im intested in your ipod. Mines on the way out. have a told you that already?
