Rather you than me then. We have one of those places opened up in our local mall. I stare in fascinated wonder at the people sitting there getting it done. And you're on show for the whole shopping centre to see you getting tickled!!!!!!
Mine's in an actual spa so not on view to the whole world thank god! and I get a half hour foot/leg massage too!jackieglasgow wrote: »I could not do that, you are barking, Flutterby (in the nicest possible way) eurgh, I feel ill, just thinking about it.

Morning All
Very wet and windy here today, the rain woke me up. WM on although I am still in my pyjamas. Just got weighed and I've stayed the same, not sure whether that is good or bad - will just have to try harder next week. Must clean the bathroom today and I need to go food shopping, football for the boys. Think we will have a nice easy tea.
Have a good day whatever your plans.

Yay we are back :j
We slept in very late this morning, did not surface till 10, but have since done three loads in the wm and got it on the line, keeping an eye though as the sky is very dark.
OH hoovered through downstairs and I did up, the bathroom has also had a good scrub, just made some pastry and will make some snacks for dd, who is upstairs with her head stuck in her chemistry and physics books, going to make cheese whirls with chutney, mustard and marmite, that should keep her going.
Have put off the low carbing till monday, I had a terrible tummy yesterday after eating a prune yogurt, never again :rotfl:, spent most of the day running to the loo.
Ok off to roll the pastry, have fun all xx0 -
I thought the form was down today??
anywhoo. Hello all, late one from me today, had a good night last night, it was much needed!! feeling a little delicate today though! No drinking again for a couple of months now!
Not much planned for the day just chilling out. The house is pretty tidy except the kitchen so will attack that later, will wash clothes tomorrow.
Got a £5 waitrose voucher, need to decide to to best spend it. Need onions, and will need lunch meats for OH for the week for packed lunches shame £5 there doesn't stretch like it would in Aldi or even asda.
Got a few watchers on our ebay things, no bids yet, but really hope we do get some!
OH's parents went to america to see relatives and got back yesterday, they got me a lovely watch, OH got a jumper, hot sauce he likes and they got the pup sweet potato jerky! It's a little stinky but he loves it! That will keep him happy this afternoon.
Weighed in today, lost 1.5lbs i think or there abouts this weekHappy happy. Dinner is supposed to be burritos tonight, i might turn mine into a salad type bowl thing instead of having wraps with it though. OH has gone to his friends farm so not sure when he'll be back.
Might do a test walk tomorrow and see how long it will take to get to work, i bought a ticket last week, but it's a country line with 3 stops and no one checked my ticket once, i could get the train home as there is no machine at that stop so you just buy one on the train if the inspector turns up, but there is a machine/people at my stop so cant do that in the mornings i don't think.
Hugs to all who need them!!

 at the prune yoghurt, I did wonder when I saw your status on FB
Busy morning here, took DS1 to his club, came back and dried off the little one, they only played one gane as the rain was so badChanged him, nipped to Argos for the B/day pressie (20Q reduced to £5.99, bargain! bought 4 for various b/days over the year) and Sainsburys for a card and some bits and pieces, home, changed him, made some smartie cookies for him to take to party with him, made lunch, oh and I did 2 loads of washing in between too
He's dropped at the party now. Feet up now for an hour, I do have stuff to do but could do with a rest as I've been awake since 5.30am.
Dinner tonight is pasta with garlic chilli and olive oil and HM rosemary foccacia. OH'c favourite, he's a man of simple tastes.
Hope everyone's having a nice afternoon. xxIt's what is inside your head that matters in life - not what's outside your windowEvery worthwhile accomplishment, big or little, has its stages of drudgery and triumph; a beginning, a struggle and a victory. - Ghandi0 -
Wow, JackieG. You have been busy! I like the sound of what you're having for tea. I think I might copy you, if I may be so bold!
I have been trawling through all the sites looking for car insurance. My eyes are going screwy! Now I have to go on the hunt for carpet online, see if I can do it cheaper than in Carpetright.Father Ted: Now concentrate this time, Dougal. These

Afternoon all, I didn't really notice the forum being down as I didn't get up until after 1pm :rotfl:
Major role reversal in the house, the boys were all up doing essays or out and I was in bed eating a poached egg at 2pm!! ex-OH had a chat with the guys while I was out last night and is feeling much better about the break up and the guys are fine with it as they say it's not awkward and they hadn't even noticed! I am dealing with it in my own way of sleeping, pub and finally spending some of the vouchers/money I got for christmas on shoes!
OS today? hmm after a few hours of revision I shall make dinner, chicken something? I dunno, I'm so uninspired to cook, yesterday I didn't have lunch or dinner, just a pitta bread before i went out and another when I got back!
bramble, glad you had fun :P sounds like you're having a good weekend.
jackieglasgow, you sound like super woman, my brain can't fathom being so productive and efficient :eek:Living cheap in central London :rotfl:0 -

(never had one before, got a great deal on Groupon - £16 instead of £50! bit apprehensive but think I'll like it) and then dinner, and then we are going to see Mamma Mia on the stage tonight :j

No one, not even fish can touch my feet! I can feel things near my feet before they touch and it freaks me!
I saw Mamma Mia at Liverpool last year, was wondering how I would like it after seeing the film but it was one of the best shows I have ever seen, and the getting up and singing and dancing at the end was great
OH was at work this morning, DSD said about us going for lunch, so was ok with this, we both had lazy morning after OH went to work, I was reading amongst doing washing putting into TD and various other bits of housework, suddenly realised it was gone 11, DSD had to be at a charity shop for 1 where she is volunterring, woke her up, she had slept through her alarm. We got ourselves out at 12, went to pub where we usually have lunch, tooooo busy, so went next door and had a very nice jacket spud she is now doing her bit, me and OH are chilling.
Chicken, bacon and pasta for tea and thats about it really
Hope you are all having a good day xxwhoever said laughter was the best medicine has clearly never tasted wine
