this is not an overreaction, i would go beserk. you would expect creepy crawlies on stuff you had actually picked from the ground yourself, but not from tescos urghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh nasty

With no disrespect meant, what a load of rubbish. If you want to pay a massive premium for food that has been scrutinised individually, feel free to do so. The rest of us are happy to wash produce that comes from the earth and not make a fuss.
  • If you would go striding into a supermarket and up to the service desk brandishing a couple of worms then I fear for your sanity, your preference for quoting a Meerkat puppet notwithstanding. :)

I did mean taking the bag of food that the worms were found in with the worms in a separate bag to the service desk.

I am sure that they have seen worse.

And for the £64,000 what are they? :)

Such as? A decomposing cow inside a box of leather shoes perhaps?

Not many sane people would walk into Tesco with worms to facilitate their unnecessary complaint to customer services.

Most rational people would just place the worms in their garden, wash the veg off as normal and get on with their day. :)

    Dear Tesco,
I began to make tea last night after working for 19 days straight without a break. To my horror as i was about to peel my potatoes, which i purchased in your store, found that they were covered in mud and soil!! this is just not acceptable and you will be hearing from my lawyer unless $100,000,000 is paid to me now!

    Yours sincerely Mr Angryman (op)

I've bought raspberries before, and had spiders crawl out of them....

Just stuck them out in the garden. You will get them in fruit and veg.

    And a worm's an invertebrate.

Annelids, and yes I am a nerd :D
  • It was merely a suggestion.

On a slightly off discussion note, I work at a Tesco store and I have never found worms in any of the items.

Maybe it was a prank by the OP on his gf?
