i need a rant
i dont have any contact with my side of the family (long story which i wont bore you with) but out of the blue one of my sisters phones me today. being a nice as pie then asks for a favour. she expects me and alan to drive 3 1/2 hours to pick her up, then bring her back here so she can bring my dads ashes to be scattered where he wanted them (he died in may) and she expects not to go when they scatter his ashes as it will upset the rest of my family that will be there
his wife then phones saying she heard that i have just spoken to my sister... didnt even let her finish, just hung up on her
now just got a message on the answer phone from my brother asking me whats happening

When my boys were toilet training, they refused to use they potties.
They both used to shout "i'm not peeing in a bowl!!!!" at the top of their lungs:o. If luckily it happened it should go everywhere, on the floor, the walls you name it went.
Instead i used to have to run all the way up with stairs with little feet dangling. No wonder i lost weight :rotfl:
Anyways thanks everyone for letting me rant:o.
I was just so angry the little so-so's. Its a good job i went into the branch and asked for a check up.
Snips ashtma medication has been upped, but is having a another check up in two weeks to see how he's doing. He hasn't been fully diagnosed so its a case of waiting.

Hi everybody
Have spent ages trying to get stuff fixed in new house, one step forward and two steps back.
DD happy with her new shower and then ours breaks down!!!! Got new shower fixed into place last week then electric pull thingy stops working. DD has had AS exams so everyone stressed for her.
Electrician came this afternoon and fixed our new shower's electrics- yippee!!!
He pointed out that at some stage the pull had been ""held together by glue!"" The previous owners seem to have bought decent fittings etc so things look good but then bodged everything practical when installing stuff.
Irony is the previous owners were in the building trade!!!!!! Don't know whether to laugh or cry.

I''d be tempted to let slip to the biggest gossip in the place that my cousin was in ''Elf and safety'' and was appalled at the breaches in practice. It might make Bursar more reasonable in future!
Treated ourselves to new sofa a few months ago to find the seat cushions needed to be shaken and walloped every time you got up - even doing that, they were starting to look awful. I found an upholstry place which replaced the cushions with reflex foam and sofa now looks much better - for 30 quid a cushion it has made a real difference.
Managed to find a ham hock in butcher just down the road and so can make pea and ham soup tomorrow - DH delighted.
Dinner will be herby chicken pieces, home made spicy potatoes and a stir fry. Thought I had some left from yesterday but DH has woofed it down for lunch along with the soup from last night.
Hugs to all"This site is addictive!"
