  • Raw meat. Chicken wings and thighs mostly, but also lamb and the odd bit of pork, although she isn't too keen on that. And she gets tinned sardines once or twice a week too, usually with potatoes and veg :D Google raw meaty bones or Barf. The bonus is that she doesn't suffer the famous Staffie flatulence or dry skin problem ;)

Thanks for the lovely comments about my BIL! They are much appreciated.

Jackie - the baby is due on March 20th; now that it's the new year, it seems a lot closer than it did just a couple of weeks ago!

  • Good afternoon all!!

I've been away far too long...again. Just cant get back to normal since crimbo.I dont know whats wrong with me!!
DD is back at school, swimming and ballet now and really thought that would be enough to get me back into routine but NOPE! I am getting there slowly it just seems to be 1 step forward and 2 back.

Its wet and cold here. Very miserable :(:(. The river is up and they sent out flood warnings last night.

Havent done much today apart from the school run and taking pooch out. I've been online catching up with bits, you know organising returns (before the deadline...one day i'll get caught out!) and paying bills, that sort of thing.
Will put WM on when DD is home that way her uniform can go in too.
Dinner will be chicken pie with mash, mixed veggies and gravy.
Need to grap some milk and a couple of tins of food for pooch and the kitties.
Tomorrow i plan on sorting DD's clothes, growth spurt! And finally clearing the cupboard understairs,my cd and dvd collections are a total mess and come crashing down everytime i remove the hoover or ironing board :o

Hope you are all well and safe, off lurking for a while. Hugs xx

  • Afternoon all
I'm home, but please excuse any typo's vision still blurred, ARMD diagnosis confirmed, I have to start attending the macular clinic to check on speed of degeneration. Dr suggested I start taking eye care supplements & said it was a shame I didn't smoke as giving up would have made a major difference! Went to Boots to get the supplements as they are 3 for price of 2 so now have enough for 3 months. Dr was furious at the Bursars attitude to eye care & her refusal to pay for an eye test for me, it may not have made any difference to me, but still is not the way to carry on & I shouldn't have to fight to get what is my due.
    Have a good afternoon all.
    Hugs Hester

    :mad::mad::mad::mad:MAJOR RANT ALERT:mad::mad::mad::mad:

Well i tried opening up two children saver accounts about two weeks only to messed about by Natwest. So instead over the phone i tried AGAIN to open them, only to have some bloke on the other end trying to sell and then take money out of my accounts and upgrade it Advantage gold account which i didn't want :mad:. He then refused to listen to what i said regarding the children's account i only want to pay money in not take it out.

so i trottles into the branch today and pay in a cheque and to have a basic cheque up of my account as it appears advantage gold has been set up against my wishes.. Arghhhhh

So i very politely ask the lady to cancel the childrens account as the info put in was in correctly inputted and to cancel the extra's. Now as i jotting down the details in silence i came out with the sentence "i was so annoyed i could have hissed at him". She then said if you carry on swearing you'll have to leave the branch as abuse won't be tolerated:eek:. The fact is i didn't even swear apparently i said pee'd off and !!!! off. Which i didn't so i demanded an apology otherwise i was going to speak to the manager regarding her lack of customer services i.e not cancelling thebservices and the cheek to accuse me of swearing. Oh i'm angry arghhh

In the end i got a full apology and all the things i wanted cancelled. So annoying.

Right better shoot off and get snips.

Well done to you for sticking by your Guns.:T:T:T:T:T
