I don't know. How big a pot is it in? They like a nice big pot.
If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.

Anyway, the efficacy of superglue is questionable when used on radishes. :p

Peeps, can I ask. I'm growing peas for the first time. I set up canes (like for beans) but they don't appear to be climbing like beans do. Should I set up netting or similar to support the peas to climb? At the mo, they're just crawling around the floor. That is too close to slugland imo, & I don't wanna lose any peas cos they're my favourites!
It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.

Yes, I think that you use netting. Not that I've ever grown peas, mind. :p

It's in one of those Morrisons black flower buckets.

Why is growing stuff so traumatic?!

If you sow them thickly enough, you just need one cane and they cling to each other and the cane just gives them inner strength to stand up.

Otherwise, a net, or canes around the outside with twine at 12 inch intervals around the outside, or one cane in the middle with twine going from top of cane to outside of pot a few times for them to cling to. Peas use tendrils, they don't wind like beans. So give them something to grab onto and they will climb on their own. O grow in blocks and stick a cane right in the middle or one at each corner with twine to keep them all in one place.
If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.

Superglue is very good on veggies. I've used it many a time to errm, "improve" a certain entry or two, to the local veg show ;)
