Help MBE grow his dinner 2011

I've seen a lot of comments about beans and am totally jealous of the progress of some of MBE's beans climbing already, but I will try to be patient!
I am, apparently, early with my beans so yours'll be fine.If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0 -
More rain forecast here for thursday & friday (possibility of thunderstorm friday).
My other 2 peppers have sprouted! They're just an experiment to be honest, but it is always fun to try something new. One spring onion is showing too, so litle teeny tiny progress is happening...It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -
I received my mixed assortment of veg plugs from ebay this morning so have been busy planting them out. Hopefully they will be ok as I dont have anywhere to keep them indoors. I have raised beds and lots of trugs.
Heres my list of what im attempting to grow this year:-
white onions
red onions
chard
savoy cabbage
romanesco
sweetheart cabbage
primo cabbage
cauliflower
fennel
beetroot
courgettes
french beans
peas
peppers
swede
lettuce
tomatoes
leeks
raddish
cucumber
carrots ( in trugs raised off the ground)
Not bad for a newbie but will see how we go.
oh also got lavender, parsley, coriander, basil and chives growing out the front. Unfortunately my clematis and climbing rose are both deadSealed Pot Challenge member #982
In 2012 I pledge to:- Save £1 a day, meal plan, be more organised, have NSDs, set myself a budget AND STICK TO IT, throw all loose change into Sealed Pot and not open it till 29th November.:money:0 -

Doesn't matter, you can't eat those. If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0 -

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you - that's a long time without a drop of rain.If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0 -

MBE - I don't want to hijack your thread but thought you would be interested to hear that my suicidal tomato plants appear to be sprouting new growth, and there's a flower appearing on my pepper plant. Nothing doing on the chilli plant yet though, but I now have hope and can no longer live in fear of being arrested-for-cruelty-to-living-things!0

You're not hi-jacking, you're joining in.
And yes, I'm delighted that your tomato plant is recovering.
Is the pepper inside or out? Something's going to have to pollinate that flower. If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0 -
at the moment they are all inside because they decide to learn to fly, but once I know the weather is calmer I'll re-erect the greenhouse thingy and put them back outside. My pepper plant has survived since last summer, and I got 1 little pepper on it from keeping it inside - how did that work?0
