I just had a scare though, temps dropped like a stone tonight, straight down to 5c by 9pm and no cloud as promised. But they have gone up to 6.5c now, so the cloud must have come over. Phew, I was envisioning a late night scramble round the garden. Supposed to be a low of 13c tonight according to the Met office. :rollyeyessmiley:
I can't take much more of this, I want warm nights :wall:
45 mange tout will do you quite a few meals for 2 or 3 people. Maybe a weeks worth.Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.0 -

Hi,
Was wondering if anyone can help me i need some bigger plant pots and was wondering if anyone could let me know the cheapest place to get the bigger ones i need them for cucumbers and minipop sweetcorn
TIA0 -
We're going to grow our Tomotoes along with cucumbers in an old bath rescued from a skip. If you don't mind the look of of it you could try this. If you do you could always clad it. Other way to go is to inquire at garden centres/alotments/friend/neighbours if they have any used pots they want to get rid of. also consider asking sandwhich bars for old plastic buckets which they get things likre mayo in. You could always advitise on somewhere like freecyle or in your local papper. It largely depends on what size pot you're looking for:kisses3: Married 29th September 20120

I'll probably fleece them a few more times too - it's meant to be very cold on Tuesday night, Wednesday night and Friday night.
Nothing is more important than my competition beans. If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0 -

They're managing the wind ok. It's meant to be 4°C at 4am this morning, feeling like 1°C in the wind. Sounds cold to me. Poor little bean.If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0
