You are lucky. At least you can drive. That is something I will never be able to legally do.Sealed pot challenge #232. Gold stars from Sue-UU - :staradmin :staradmin £75.29 banked

You probably have a lot more independence than people like me who can't drive and struggle to get out by themselves.Sealed pot challenge #232. Gold stars from Sue-UU - :staradmin :staradmin £75.29 banked

Excuse me, please can we stick to the point, and not descend into an embittered discussion of who is the most disabled/whose disability affects them most PLEASE?
We all have our problems, it isn't a competition for who is in the worst place.I try not to get too stressed out on the forum. I won't argue, i'll just leave a thread if you don't like what I say.0 -

Having thought a lot about this thread (and ignoring the willy waving of who is worse than who), although I can see a case for reducing fuel costs, the chances of it actually happening are nil in reality.
For one thing how to 'claim it' would be a nightmare, and on who lies the authority of who can claim it and the actual claim process behind it. I am sure agencies such as HMR&C would not relish taking on the extra work inviolved. Also with the countries current economic deficit, every penny counts and if that is pennies per litre does add up to quite a lot. I am sure the treasury would not allow it.
Also do not forget that in future benefit and certain pension rises are going to be confined to CPI inlieu of RPI. I forsee the sitation becoming even tighter in the future but until such time as the country is back on an even fiscal or positive fiscal situation, there is, sadly, no chance of it happening.
