    Afternoon all
Tin hat & concrete knickers needed here. The Bursar has been forced to climb down & pay for my eye test, in retaliation she has emailed all staff to tell them that the amount paid towards glasses is being reduced because of 'some people being difficult & claiming more that their due'. She's going to look an even bigger twit when she realises that the amount is set by our local authority & she has no say in it!
    Have a good evening everyone.
    Hugs Hester

Good evening chums just got back from Bluewater.saw the fabulous Colin Firth in 'The King's Speech',well worth an ocar I think It was brilliant.I bought lunch so my friend who had some M&S vouchers treated me to some of their lamburgers with couscous and apricot.plus a nice prawn salad that I will have for dinner tonight as it was reduced to a £1.00 so I still haven't been to the supermarket yet, although I will need to go to my local butchers tomorrow as I am short of eggs and he does beautiful large free range ones for 6 for a pound . Hopefully at the moment I can't see anything else needed yet this week.Thursday I am out all day in London visiting friends and Saturday I have a field trip to london for the day so not a lot of shopping needed this week either.
My nephew phoned tonight to say he had managed to talk to my aged cousin Aileen in Toowoomba this morning where they have had some awful floods, and she's o.k. and quite safe. She is the brave lady who flew for the first time to England two years ago at the age of 88 to visit her Dad' english family .A wonderful person, and as tough as they come .It'll take more than a flood to see her off She is 90 this year bless her and bright as a button. Itexted Dd to see how she got on at her interview and she said O.K. and she'll phone me later So I'll wait to hear how it went.
Right I'm off to have my prawn salad
    Take care all

    Evening all:j:j
I hope that you are all haveing a good day.

Im thinking of doing pie, beans and chips for dinner tonight. My wife is going to her exasize class after work so she wont be back home untill about 9:30 tonight. So im looking for somthing quick and easy to do and eat. I dont relly like eating that late at night.

Thge twins are still at my moms house. They will be back at about 7:15 tonight.
Iv spoke to my mom after i got back from work and she told me taht twin one had been a little devil this morning. She hit hiting twin two, takeing things off twin two. She would not do as she was told. At lunch time she stole twin twos blue berrys. Because of all this twin two spent the morning quite upset.
My mom said she has never seen her like this before. When the twins go to her house they are always little angels :A you see. They normaly only play up at home. So at least my mom now knows we are telling her the truth when we tell her that one of the twins has been playing up.
Anyway they went for there afternoon nap after lunch and twin two woke up in a far better mood. My mom made her say sorry to twin two . She did and they had a little cuddle. Both of the twins have been back to there normal little angel sefs:A

Well im off to have a shower i9n a few mins so enjoy your evening everyone:j:j
:jYou can have everything you wont in lfe, If you only help enough other people to get what they wont.:j
  • Evening all

Hope all the people feeling poorly have had better days :)

Another NSD for me - quite interesting logging them and I am definitely thinking more about not spending in order to keep it looking good.

Dinner in the oven (lamb chops, carrots/swede, cabbage and HM foccaicia bread (instead of yorkies or pots)). BM on with sundried tomato and parmesan bread (water that the SD toms rehydrated in saved for soups/stews). WM been on twice.

Most exiting news is that my Wii balance board :j and Wii Fit plus :jarrived so guess what I'll be doing this evening. Also managed to finally get an dentist appt to sort out an abscess - never been so pleased to go to the dentist - roll on Friday.

Must do some OU stuff but I think Wii might win tonight :D

DH has said his head feels weird and his ears feel bunged up
    too.

some soup later, not used my new food processor yet!!

I think the word you're looking for is !!!!!!. I'll let you guess what it's an amalgamation of ;)
Big news of the day is that i've just made dumplings for the 1st time ever :o, they are currently in the stew...will report back as to how they go down

    Bitsy - I'd love a sewing machine - Well done you :T

Well done on the dumplings front (not that I eat them mind you, I don't like them :o)

JackieG - forgive my self centredness I forgot to wish you all the best with your decision to return back to work on Thurs. Hope it goes well :D

Not going to SW tonight as the venue is a little bit far for me. I shall however be joining a more local venue on a Monday so I've got a week to wait <taps foot impatiently> Waiting isn't a strong point :o
Tappers - I am interested on how SW works so I shall send you a PM via FB :)

Alwaysallie - enjoy your Wii time tonight.

Candy - Hope your DD comes to her senses before rather than later x
