I was also told that email doesn't count as a communication tool, only calls are excepted for termination.
haha what utter rubbish.TESCO EVERY LITTLE change to the t&cs HELPS0 -
Anyone who asked for a PAC code and got an email telling them they'd have to pay an early termination fee to get it might like to know that goes against what OFCOM say:
http://ask.ofcom.org.uk/help/telephone/refuse_PACYour provider cannot refuse to issue a PAC if you have any outstanding bills or charges to pay.
These charges should be included in your final bill after the port has taken place. They should be settled according to the terms of your contract.TESCO EVERY LITTLE change to the t&cs HELPS0 -
That's a nice bit of wording by OFCOM, basically they are saying that whoever understands the contract the best can do what they want, and eventually someone will blink and settle or it'll end up in court.0

T mobile responded to my email with a personal retraction which was good.
They then phoned me to try and sell me a mobile internet package for my laptop (not sure I need that with an Android!)! I wonder if this could have lured me into an "upgrade" to my contract, which would have immediately have resulted in my FUP being decapitated again!0 -
I received an email from CNET yesterday stating that this was the case. I wonder how this will happen, if this is the case, and how they managed to word the contract so that they could vary it in this manner; if, of course, this is true??
It may be that CNET were misled as they said the announcement was very badly worded. Has anyone else receivaed this email?0 -

Can I just check (I have not seen this email as I have not had a contract with T-Mob.) Does this mean the "unlimited internet" which is on many of their mobile phone contracts will be ending? is this something that will happen to all members or just those who newly join T-Mobile?
Reason I ask is that I have seen a decent contract with them offering unlimited internet along with other things (talk time, texts and handset). Worried I'll miss the offer if I leave it till the end of Feb which is when my current contract with 3 ends but can't afford to keep two phones running at the same time!0
