I've been lucky enough to be reconnected also. The usage was reflected on the Fast4 members console by the time I got back into work.
BTW I noticed that Fast4 have got my card details in the payment section - is it actually legal for Redten to have passed this on? In my case I'm fortunate enough in that they've got an expired card's details.

Just spoke to Fast4 / NJP - they report that they have been supplied with an invalid MAC code by REDTEN, so as yet nothing is being done to get me reconnected! :mad:

Seriously hacked off with this now - is there any way I can just tell them to stuff it and cancel the agreement with them?

Failing this, does anyone have a working number for BT to get a new MAC code from them? REDTEN clearly aren't capable/bothered enough to do it themselves....... GRRRRRRRR!!!!!! :rotfl:

Could be, though there must be comedian's working in Redten and Clode after the last weeks debacle.....:rotfl:

Just off the blower to NJP and they have no record of my account. Took a couple of goes to get through: timed out after 15 minutes the first time but a guy answered within a couple of minutes the second time.

Said guy tried looking me up using both my current post code and the old one from my previous address. Nada. He recommended (rather apologetically and sympathetically I may add) I phone Red*******Ten :mad: Time to consider my options!

@benjimoron: when you phoned BT for your MAC code was it easy enough to get out of them? One option I'm seriously considering is just getting my MAC code (as I'm pretty sure that's what I'll end up having to do if / when I can get through to RT) and jumping ship to another ISP.

So me, incredibledisc and norf all in the same boat.

BT give you a mac no problems.

Be careful jumping ship, will put you in breach of contract and could end in all sort of problems.

Just spent 10 minutes arguning with clode, they basically said that they won't do anything even though they're joint liable. Felt good to take some stress out tho.

Still haven't had my call from the manager, supposed to have phoned me an hour ago, I've only been on the phone for 10 minutes just now so they can't use that as an excuse.

Just thought I'd add that mine came online at lunchtime today. Put in the new username/password last night. But had a time out error over night, every 5 minutes.

Automatically logged me on at lunchtime. Speed seems the same as before.

spoke to NJP and finally got someone to tell me that everything should be working hung and tried again logged into router reset it and started again it came up with authentication failure i swore alot and very loudly then clicked on the refresh button and low and behold it came up as connected.
very strange but i am back online now the speed is roughly half what it was before.
