Do any ISPs provide a free dial-up connection while processing a broadband order which takes 10 working days? HELPPPP0

other than pay as you go - no - why should an ISP give you something for free when you won't use them later?0

I meant do any ISPs give you dial-up access while processing broadband, I'm not asking for free access from another supplier, just the one I'm joining. Thanks anyway0

I have not heard of any, only pay as you go, and tiscali do a dial up service for £9.99 per month, which may be worth looking at as a short term measure. It gives something like 15 gb of download I think, may even be more, check their web site.

I may be able to help you out with a copy of windows mediacenter edition if you still need one. If you leave me a message on the forum with your details , address, phone no. and full name I will contact you ASAP. Dont leave it too long as I expect to lose my connection any time soon. BT do a straightforward dial up access for 1p a minute while online with no subscription.
see
http://www.broadband.org/dial_up_internet
for others that do the same.

Not too much of an option for my dad to migrate after RedTen kindly bumped him.
The local exchange has no additional providers, other than those who piggy back onto BT. However after discussing with SKY and obtaining multiroom FOC, they have thrown in Home Connect at £10 per month rather than the standard £18. So additional savings all round and connection within a week.
Worth considering for those with limited options.
