Got my MAC code emailed to me this morning and I'm now signed up with Plusnet.

Good luck to those of you still waiting for your MAC. I think you'll be ok, Nick Tonks seems pretty genuine, in fact I feel a bit sorry for Clode as I guess they're going to lose out as well due to those Redten muppets.

Anyway, thanks to all those who have posted on this forum, it's been invaluable.

Good news. One point. Dont feel sorry for Clode... They agreed to the deal with Redten and were utterly terrible when dealing with the fallout as a result of a poor business decision.

Kept people hanging on indefinietly, kept changing the goalposts and it was only through the legal system that the first of us managed to get free - do i feel sorry for them? Not at all. I do feel sorry for the "coal face" staff who had to field our irate calls on a daily basis with no answers from on high.

Received my Mac code and farewell letter from Clode this afternoon (Good riddence to them).
Now off to dance naked in the street lol

Hi all, I finally got the MAC after 7 days so I rang Tiscali. I was answered straight away, gave them the MAC, then was disconnected. I rang them back and went through the procedure again. No probs until they went to proceed with the order. I was flagged and stopped because an outstanding order had been placed due to previous MAC check and disconnection. I've now got to wait until Tuesday for them to resolve this issue and call be back before starting it all again. :mad: Are there any good ISP's out there because I'm really getting fed up now?

don't go with tiscali as they are the same as redten speed wise

hi all I'm still fighting clode as they want money off me to cancel my account, (no chance).
i have another problem, i don't have (was not sent) the windows xp media edition disk and i have had to reinstall my operating system.
not having the disk i have had to downgrade to home edition.
so I'm after a favor, does anyone have there media edition disk that i could borrow. (i will pay postage costs)
please pm me if you can help.
