It seems that Clode can no longer supply any reliable service to its customers.
It should be easy to get out now for the asking.......and without paying a penny.
Just email them with your complaints
Ask for a mac code
Advise them that you are stopping your direct debit.
Ask them to release you from any further financial penality as an alternative to you lodging a small claim, for redress, online........
Clode will be reluctant to pull the plug on the service and ending it as you could theoretically claim for the whole 3 years money back and their company has not gone bankrupt. ( You could remind them of that right when you email them .....course you would have to give the pc back if you claimed for the full 3 years ) But then of course, you can buy better now and a lot cheaper.
Don't hang about getting more frustrated. I think they will welcome the letters from their customers; as the less customers there are , the more expensive it becomes to supply them with broadband of any speed and rate.

Just got off the phone to a very helpful Nick at Clode Tech Support (0844 826 2981), who tells me that my account has been closed, with no financial penalty, the kit is mine to keep, and my MAC code is on it's way in the next couple of days. Result!!:j :j :j0

I too have been a victim of the Redten farce.I was virtually cut off three days ago, and despite my calls to clode I did not get a return call. however today, i did a 1471 and found that they had called me in my absence. I rang back and was told that the person who called me was on the other phone, I insisted that they called me back today, and sure enough they did. I informed them of my situation and the tech support guy said that they were closing my account and would send me a mac code by letter in the next few days.I am so relieved about it all! I feel sorry for clode as they seem to be left picking up the pieces of redtens conmen. So there hope for everyone. Just ring them folks and see.
