is their any mention on the letters from Fatcat as to who they will be using as a backbone provider ? I remember a while back NJP saying they would not supply an unlimited service, can't believe Fatcat / Clode would pay for the additional downloads on those accounts that go over NJP's MAX service every month

Nothing in the letter at all about backbone provider - just that they've "Aquired some of the Assets of Redten" meaning the rest had already been sold or pawned.

I think that if you go to the url Fatcat provided to http://www.fast4.net to see it is the Fast4 so still bt via njp via Fast4 and they did a Redten on their customers long before Redten did so if you like being jerked about scammed then jerked some more stay with Fatcat for gods sake surly the name says it all
    Who cares ??

    WOW
Within 4 hours of REquesting a MAC code from FATCAT and CC'ing OFCOM I get my MAC code, at last, I can now go to a real supplier with a proper support system AND an Arbitration service.
I am very much looking forward to the peace of mind, just got to wait now for the court case to complete proving Breach of contract and poor customer support/services.

Sorry to break the news but it looks like NJP have pulled out from the Redten services with a similar Message to the dreaded BT message of a few months ago. I gota a call from home @ 13:00 today. It says something to do with unpaid invoices / unable to contact Redten (we know that!) there is an offer to moved to NJP (£££) or get a MAC code. Even EMail ports are blocked so no surfing and no Email !

Just seen the walled garden message from NJP. It repeats the content of the email they sent yesterday except that the service ceases now instead of 30 June.
    They are offering
    1) switch to them at a cost of £10 for 1GB/mo or £17 for 15GB/mo or £24(?) for 30GB/mo
    2) get a MAC and go elsewhere
    3) wait and see what Redten come up with
Personally, I'm switching to NJP for a month while I look around so at least I don't have a service break. Cannot see how my credit card company can but pay up for the balance of my advance payment.

Be careful switching to NJP, I believe there's no contract but something fishy like 45 days notice needed and a release charge to get your mac.

I wonder what Clode have to say about this. Maybe that everyone is getting switched over to Faccat? So the mac may not even work like last time.

Going by what has happened for the last few months my advise would be to completely get away from NJP because going by reviews on the internet they are terrible.
