has anyone else had a letter today from fatcat? funny thing is although the registered office is the same as clodes, the address at the bottom of letter is 1 Finway, Luton. Hmmm all the time clode have been telling me that we are going round in circles is true. also spoke to ofcom who are basically a waste of time telling me that i need to seek legal advice.

Just phoned NJP, they are only emailing certain customers about the move from Redten. Paul still recommended calling Redten on on the 09 number!
I then phoned Ofcom to inform them of Fatcat/Clode and the issues ongoing with Redten, they said they were still aware and that I can try to look into legal advice for the situation.

I moved to BT as soon as the walled garden message came up so ive had no problems with getting a mac i was one of the lucky ones who got in quick so didnt get transfered to njp
I sent my recorded delivery complaints and got 1 letter threatening legal action for non payment so I rang and complained about it and 4 weeks later i got the letter saying I owe nothing and can keep the comp

Congratulations on joining the happy band, only a few thousand more to go.

I would think NJP/RT/Clode will be targeting those that they will have difficulty saying "they have accepted the new terms and conditions by default" i.e. those who wrote in April declining the new service with Murphx/NJP as backbone, and asked for release.

All those that didn't write, will be on much shakier ground.

Try phoning NJP again - I just called them and requested a MAC and was told it will be sent in next 24-48 hours. If not received, call them back and they will give over the phone. No problem at all, so I guess their looking for a clean break now and relying on some staying with them.
Now moved it onto to credit card company who were very helpful and will let them address the issue of recovering funds.

NEXT STOP - get all my evidence together to pass to the credit card company to see if I can get any money back (3 years paid in full at the outset Feb 07). Only problem I see in that is that I haven't been throttled since end of April (25Gb and rising this month so far!) so lack of service was 12 days outage when they went to NJP, then throttled to unsusable for about 3 weeks in April. Can't wait to see if I have a FATCAT letter when I get home tonight and see what they think their up to - bring it on FAT(cat)BOY!

Can't believe that FatCat are actually offering a PC and Broadband deal, no details on their site yet. Haven't they learnt.

FATTW*T INTERNNET more like. Look at the registered office of FatCAT on the bottom of the letter! Do we see a patern forming? Anyway Who's issued court papers and got out for nothing or less than £50? please PM if you don't want to post.

    Thanks and good luck everyone!
