Odds on they will release you for free prior to the hearing
Good luck
And Kevindowns post on spam
I hope those exploits were dumped on them by some happy Redten x-customer
I opted to settle, it was worth getting a Mac code for the figure \I must not disclose, but I am sure a good guess can be made, believe me it was worth every penny, though I still wish in some ways I had gone to the end. Good Luck anyway, I am hoping now that OFCOM and FSO will do what they should and stamp on them, all my details including the fact that I was forced to BUY my Mac code have been forwarded, as once again they are not allowed to hold a MAC code to ransom.
I said weeks ago that NJP seem to be sending junk, as I was spam free prior to being Slammed over to them, still getting it via redten email address, will be dumping that addy very shortly.

No we know where all that Spam came from!
As far as I can see, the secure members console for Redten and Fast4 customers isn't covered by this warning but I wouldn't be too happy if dodgy software was being put on computers at a time where you could be accessing your personal or banking details!
Thank goodness I use Ubuntu Linux and thank goodness I am changing ISP this Wednesday (payday) from Fast4 to Be* broadband.0 -

I wonder what will happen. I declined the settlement of £158 and £80. I'm going to take it all the way. I'm interested in how the Courts will decide. I want to cost them money and get out at the same time!
A further thought be carful not to let the court think you are using them to punish Red/Clode or that you have refused a reasonable ?? settlement offerWho cares ??0 -

And I'll say I've done nothing wrong. The free pc is a enticement to sign up, there should be no settlement fee to pay. I did say I want the equipment uplifted and a refund of monies paid plus costs involved with pc uplift and personal costs covered. Which you are entitled under CCA 1974 and if the court make a judgement in your favour. Clode also pay costs and the fact clode did not even use their own internal complaints procedure all bring this matter to the courts for a judgement.
Also I now withhold monies under CCA 1974 you can do this as long as you notify them. I CC Nicola dobson and louise at clode and sent the email to nick davies.
Dont forget we have done nothing wrong. We are not to blame, contracts have been broken and they all know this.
So declining a settlement figure is not really a big deal. There are other issues, infact Clode offering a settlement shows that they are indeed liable and hope Customers choose this option and dont use the courts as it would be cheaper for them...0 -
I've got FATCAT as a header on the login site, and I've used about 22GB this month (So many Linux distro's - difficult to keep up).
But as yet no nice new traffic like symbol for me. I too have filed my paperwork with the courts just to get out of the tennis match of new providers!
PS my speed is about 1Mb down and 28kb up :S normal for redten0 -
I must also note that since today my connection has dropped quite a few times - maybe coincidence or problems in the wider world.0

I also received a letter from Louise on Friday that they have received instruction from Redten to cancel the contract, which is funny seeing as I haven't been with them for 4 months and served my court papers last weekend?
Am I to cancel the court papers and just accept it? They've taken 3 direct debits since the broadband was cut off in March and I would like that back! Should I just write back to them and demand it or leave the courts to decide? I just want that money back for a period I didn't have their broadband and I'll be happy to finally be rid of all this mess.Dannii_B

I'd take it all the way. You'll get your money back.0 -
This Fatcat business and the fact that Clode have set it up and the redten website is mostly down tells me that Redten are no more....
Oh well0
