    Guys,

Regarding the MAC code I phoned Clode yesterday and they told me they are aware of the fact that no-one has recieved theirs yet. The person I spoke to said she had spoken to Nicola Dobson as another customer previous to me had queried it and that Nicola had been working on chasing these up and that they finally expected them to come through today and would inform their customers immediately. I have been told to call back Wednesday morning if I have still not recieved it.

Dont know if this was just a fog off but woman seemed geniune.

    Hello All,

Just got a letter from Clode today. Which details their complaints procedure. Nothing new but wonder why they are trying to formalise their response so long after the complaints were sent in.

What would make you think that a large respected company would fob you off? Shame on you :rotfl:

I rang today....again..£££££££ and was told as soon as they knew anything they would let me know and went on to say they are still in talks with redten. I then went onto say what is there to know I gave you 400 big ones for the promise of a mac code ,to be told they are doing all they can...yeah right!!:rotfl: ....conned again what a mug I am. How long can it take to get a mac code, you would think we are asking for next weeks winning lottery numbers...probably be easier to achieve.

Yeah, I got one too - seems an odd response to a threat of court action. Attempting to stall for time methinks. Small claims action is going ahead if they haven't resolved the issue by my deadline.

Does anyone know if this snivelling non-response of a letter would be viewed by a court as a part of a reasonable attempt to provide a solution and thus negating any claim I might make in court?
