I havnt had an offer
wonder if i will get one, and if i do what will it be
has anybody who stopped DD's had an offer yet ?
• Hi guys,

I have still had no luck getting anything out of Clode or Redten but have spoken to NJP. It has informed me that it will be offering to take over customers broadband if they so wish ie. providing the support aswell rather than just the backbone. It does mean you will be starting a new contract with NJP but as its contracts are a minimum of one month you would be able to get a MAC code after this time.

HOWEVER this doesn't mean your financial obligation to Clode will be over, you'll still be tied into that contract and would need to pursue it. If you are thinking of doing this you'll need to think carefully about the impact it might have on negotiations with Clode and you may need to write a letter stating without prejudice.

NJP will be sending out letters shortly on this.

I hope this makes sense and sorry it wasn't any better news.

HelloMSE Archna

Sorry, not sure I understand your note fully. Are NJP saying that they are willing to take over accounts of their customer Redten? (i.e. poach subscribers) If so why?

Does it seem to other people that we are heading for another walled garden fairly soon?

• Hi Jamie,

Yes I agree, it is a good way for them to poach customers but possibly an easier way to obtain a MAC code if you're having trouble doing this.

Hi all ,after reading all the comments etc. I decided to email Clode and ask as to why I had never beeen made an offer. Within 1 hr I had an email asking me if I would like an offer.I obviously replied in the affirmative and again within the hour they emailed me to say on the payment of £40 I could walk away from the contract keeping the computer etc. as full and final conclusion. After all you guys have done I feel a bit of a traitor , but to be rid of that contract has taken a great weight off my shoulders,so I accepted.I will still view this site daily and wish you guys all the success you so richly deserve!
How much a month were you paying ?

every one that takes the offers please post your results and out comes on deadten.com site as it will help us others in court what they have given you as an opt out i think it will only strenghten our cases from 2006!!!

Easiest way for this is to email your deal to info@deadten.com
I'll then compile a list on the site

Thanks
