I also haven't received anything from Clode yet, although I have always received emails from them in the past.
Can any one confirm if they have said that they are indeed sending an offer to everybody?
I signed up in November 2007, and signed up at £12.99 but they take £13.00 every month from me so wonder if I can claim the 1p back for the last 6 months????

They told me it was only going to some people, not sure what their criteria is for this. I did ask was it just those that complained and was told no.

Has anybody thought they are offering a £12 rebate which they say pays for an alternative supplier. The cost of BT unlimited is actually £24.99, remember we signed up for RedTen that was backed by BT, so surely an alternative should be based on BT's costs. in which case no offer from them is high enough to cover an equivalent replacement.

I have not recieved an offer yet, spoke to clode yesterday who initialy denied i would be getting any such email from them, but then told me i should get one within the next couple of days as they are working through the complaints on an individual basis.
  • I have just been in touch (again) with Clode.Couldn't speak to Nicola dobson (not at her desk). Queried why I haven't received the "settlement" email, chap said everyone will receive either an email or letter in the next 2 days.

Not all customers are to receive the offer, but if you would like to be considered for the offer email the customer relations department and explain to them that you would like to be considered, and they will add you to the list.
Email address can be found on deadten website. Thanks.

    Hi,

Haven't posted before now due to works fire wall being a bit tetchy. But I have been watching this thread closely since to big switchoff in March.

I became a Red Ten customer in November 2006. It became clear pretty quickly what sort of firm I was dealing with, when the Vista Upgrade and the Software packages didn't appear.

I sued Red Ten in Small Claims, and eventually got at least my Vista Upgrade.

When The Switch off came, it turned out I must have been one of the small group of 30odd customers who weren't on the list to be picked up by NJP. When the date on the Garden page, then the NJP transfer date passed, I decided to take matters in hand and used the MAC to go to BT. I cancelled the direct debit to Clode and I've heard nothing since.

It seems the answer is, these companies have no intention to behaving eqitably, and the only language they hear is the language of CCJ and legal action.

Welcome aboard, did Clode not even send you a letter for missing the DD ?
Did you put anything in writing to them ?

your all missing another very important issue here at first they said it was redten who had to cancel the contract they couldnt do it so why the sudden change in saying only they can change it or cancel it now and not redten what is going on here ???
any one like to comment read your offers again its at the bottom what im asking about !!!

Did not miss that point at all --just delayed responding as I have never received an offer of anything.

Your point is very well made as the only people involved now it would appear are NJP, currently providing the service--the bit branding fools no-one; and Clode, who paid over your loan to the mysterious redten whom I suspect are soon to be no more in their previous guise.
