Essex, that's what happened to me, looks like I never got transferred over in March though so I'm using that as leverage with Clode as Redten cancelled the service themselves. Will wait and see if I get a reply - I doubt it.Dannii_B

I wonder if mr. Gulzar and company use his own isp to conduct business, maybe that would explain why no one is being contacted they may be capped after using up there 15gb quota;) .....probably been on you tube to find a few vids. on how to run an isp properly!!....they say sarcasm is the lowest form of wit...... well we are dealing with low life!!:mad:0

I have passed them to OFCOM and all other relevant parties to sort this out.Ron.

Same thing happened to me, but so far it hasn't made a difference to the way Clode have acted/responded to my letters (4 now). As far as I am concerned Redten ended their contract with me when they failed to transfer me over. Seeing the problems everyone else who is with NJP are experiencing, it's a blessing in disguise.
Like Walber 99 i have ceased payment after giving Clode notice - haven't paid since start of April. I refuse to pay for something I am not receiving, and the fact that I've stopped paying is probably the only thing keeping me sane through all this! I'm glad to see others are doing the same - it is not us behaving unreasonably, but in response to totally unnacceptable service from Redten and Clode and their unreasonable behaviour. I've never managed to get through to Redten, and can't believe that when people have they've been laughed at. It's a disgrace.
I'm also grateful for this forum - it shows Clode in their true colours as clearly they are still sending out standard letters, just trying to disguise the message by putting our individual Reference numbers on the front! The fact that the content of the letter bears no relation to my circumstances seems to have passed them by....'must get the letter replied to, even if it is a load of codswhallop'!!:mad:0 -
Nope still up and running at this end
Don't believe it, I lost my connection for a week to the minute, no DSL connection whatever, went off 1608 hours 26/3/08 came back on at 1607 hours 03/04/08, still don't know why, still I suppose if everyone was taken offline for a week on a rotational basis it would save massive amounts of bandwidth. S**t shouldn't have said that, if that wasn't the reason it most likely will be in future!!!!!!!! :rotfl:
Have a nice week-end what is left of it, let battle resume on monday, what is the day for the big announcement?

Did everyone loose connection this evening?
Back now - been off about 5 hours
Log says it came back about 00.30 Sunday0 -
To my knowledge we're all playing the waiting game.
Just received the second clode standard unsigned letter,I'm sure there will be more....every so often.......just so it appears they're trying to do something.
My final round of recorded deliveries out today.......I'm still 10 days away from "reasonably" being able to sue, unless of course clode decide to send another standard letter with, perhaps, the slightest suggestion that they might have a "meeting" with each other to try to resolve my complaint. Every communication I've had with clode or redten they have sought to delay.
We are dealing with very slippery operators here and I'm certainly not going to underestimate them.:p:p
I may have misunderstood this earlier post(yes I have read them all  ) could you clarify FCI
send me your email adress to PM and I shall post them to you. FCi0 -
FCI - where are you at with switching your broadband and cancelling your agreement with Clode?Beware the character seeking personal gain masquerading as a moral crusader.

Finally got re connected on 15th of April. I had to do all the work, ie pester NJP, they told me each time there was a problem with the way Redten had passed the MAC and told me I would recieve a letter when I was re connected, I still have not recieved the letter to this day, only a couple from Clode. Now just over 5 days in I am up to 5GB and all I have done is let the computer download ms update, antivirus updates office updates and restricted web browsing. Curiously the useage goes up by about 200K or so over night even though the pc is switched off. There is no chance of getting to the end of the month at this rate. So now I am a month out of pocket not to mention the amount of time I spent on the phone (over £20) trying to contact Redten.
This is all totally out of order0
