essex_zx7r "DSL bearer status" Do you mean that you're modem/router will no longer sync with the exchange. If so it looks like they have ceased you're broadband. Check here http://www.samknows.com/broadband/checker2.php to see if your're line is still broadband activated. Could be you're free of Redten and need to sort out clode!

As for the phone numbers...actually, you're wrong. The first thing you'd look for is official contact numbers, not the Gulzar's personal mobile number. Normally, you try to go through the official channels before trying anything else. Out of curiosity, have you given Ofcom Gulzar's mobile number or email address? I hear they're having trouble contacting Redten too.

Let it go!!!!! Having a pop at Benji everytime he does appear achieves nothing. Imaging the pleasure on Clodes and Redtens faces on reading the past few pages - it's disgusting. It merely weakens our position and causes bad morale!

In an ideal world, we'd have meaningful communication from Redten on this matter. It's not happening, so an unofficial source is far more enlightening than nothing at all, even if Redten are telling more porkies.

Just checked with BT Tagging and no markers on my line so Redten have ceased it, nice of them to tell me, Just checked with Clode no one has told them of it so they are going to check further on Monday.

If Redten has cancelled your broadband and had the tag removed, they have effectively cancelled their contract. Clode should now cancel the contract you have with them, as Redten had ceased to provide you with the service you are paying for. This should make it a LOT easier for you to sort out the Clode side of things.Sign up with another ISP asap, so that redten can't reconnect you!

Just typed the number listed for Barber Gulzar into google and it came up as the contact number for GA Windows (Saw an earlier post that he sold windows).

If this is Barber's home number can we assume that:

Is also an email address he can recieve from home and presumably an email address he checks regularly?

Year my daughter had a letter from redten on 12/03/2008 explaining about NJP new user name /password she only recieved pc broadband package a few days before, every thing was ok except that windows vista had no product id code as it never asked for activation i thought as it was pre loaded and no sticker to be found that it had been activated now after 30 days no code no vista. can't contact any one to obtain imformation about how to get a code to activate windows has any one had same problems or dose anyone know a contact
