I think the problem with WD is that Redten isn't a household name, therefore, doesn't hold much attention as Ryannair. So perhaps we're on a bit of a loser there....

WD will only get invovled where it makes a good show and everyone knows about them - OR its a common problem like a dodgy builder or whatever. Dont forget its a media program so its all about shock value.

Still no call back from Clode or RT and RT arent answering the phone today, must be a day off.

Sorry MrBig it is probably me putting the wrong words down. Hopfully I will get a MAC and he will cancel contract and the computer can be skiped. But we will see what will happen.

Heres a thought. What if I or someone else cancelled the payment to clode. For Clode to get us to pay do they have to summon you to court before debt collector are sent to your house? Would that get us in front of a judge a bit quicker and would what is happening be allowed as mitigating circumstances? Just a thought it might make them do some thing at least. You could explain it as I want to pay when the service is fully restored!!

Ron I had a conversation with the Collections dept at Clode, guy was really sympathetic and listened to my arguement, basically I told them I wanted payments suspended until the dispute was resolved, he was going to request this to the boss, (Nick Davies) and let me know, told him of the urgency. Called back today and spoke again to him and basically no further forward so instructed him that I was halting payments myself until they contacted Redten and resolved the matter. I'm fed up of their lackof responsibility in this whole matter. They just keep saying not our issue. well guess what guys it is Consumer Credit Act says it is as well.

just joined this forum signed up to redten in nov last year got computer in jan signed up to the 24.99 deal computer + laptop only got computer never received the laptop gave up asking redten so turned my anger to clode who where supossed to get it sorted but never did when the internet went down i was never connected to njp for what ever reason tried to contact redten suprise suprise no answer after £200 of phone calls so im paying 24.99 a month for a terrible computer with a faulty graphics card no laptop and no internet
