My probelm was the lack of communication from redten. Being kept in the dark only adds fuel to peoples frustration.

No wonder there are so many huge phone bills chasing this up. Its only fair to release those who want out. We cant trust redten.

no communication, no advance notice of change of supplier even tho i was told this move was planned, limits on downloads, speed restrictions, excuse after excuse after excuse, and still nothing official from redten. lost all faith and want out. i hasnt been us that have done wrong here yet were the ones forking out to get some answers. why is it benjimoron an ex customer gets more info than us??

    OK guys,

About a week ago I promised you some information and here it is!

I have fairly regular contact with Baber Gulzar, he has given me some insight in to what problems they face and what they are able to offer customers in the future.

Redten will no longer be offering unlimited internet, they have got to the point where they can no longer afford to finance unlimited broadband considering the cost of bandwidth has increased and customers are using more and more as time goes by.

Thanks for the update. This would explain the stonewalling we are getting why they try to sort this "New Deal" out. For me it would be useless, my line is with Talk Talk as I use a lot of international calls, There's no way I would swap to Redten to provide this not after the serives I've had, plus I would still not get my unlimited service I'm paying for

I also I'm tied in with BT for phone services for another year, after taking up their free evening and weekend calls offer - Not going to be much help I'm afraid.

I was up until 1 AM the other night sorthing through my e-mails, I spent over an hour on the phone today just to bring you guys some info. It's up to you whether you think it's a good deal or not.

I'm no longer a customer and I could just disappear but I thought I would try to bring you some info.

If it's not appreciated then I won't bother in future.

    Whoa!!!!! Easy Tigers!
    Don't shoot the messenger.
What I don't get is that this completely contradicts the T*)s that Clode emailed.

If Redten really cared, they would do the decent thing and let us out penalty & hassle free. Ringing is not acceptable to them and not acceptable to me, 'cos I'll be out at work.

I think their plant was a latch ditch attempt at the flannel deception; did nto work as was so obvious and now the truth at last.

How could anyone consider remaining in contract for a further 18 months with such a deceptive and unscrupulous business and all the while trying to pretend that we were responsible that we were engaged in criminal activites.

I for one would not consider placing my telephone line in their hands even if they gave unlimited with it.

I for one appreciate your efforts BJM. I think it's more RT that folks are shocked with.
