Radten get a back hander and keep all you're money for providing you with naff all. Oh I forgot the free PC.‘I am not a number, I’m a free man’0

I would not trust them.
They are trying to save themselfs and they dont deserve saving.
The damage is done, for those who want out it should be made easy.
You have never spoken a truer word, I have been 15 days in the last month without internet access (broadband) and had to rely on dial up and phone calls, imagine if they had control of everything like they are suggesting, no thanks will let my notice stand0 -

Anyway I passed all the info I had today to my solicitor - hopefully he will give me some answers tomorrow on the way forward. From some of the info I showed him, he gave a very positive reaction (by the way I'm not paying for this - he is a very good friend and an excellent solicitor). Will keep you all posted. :j

Benjimoron,
Cheers for the info, good to gain an insight to their thoughts, pity they still seem to be blaming others.
Their companies fail time and time again, I suspect they are just buying time, although if they already have their money from v12/clode then I don't understand why they don't pull the plug now, unless they still have a few quid in the bank, or the finance company are behind this as a damage limitation exercise.0 -

Redten will no longer be offering unlimited internet, they have got to the point where they can no longer afford to finance unlimited broadband considering the cost of bandwidth has increased and customers are using more and more as time goes by.
So, let's get this straight. You enter into a contract, market conditions change, and you disavow the contract.
I wonder, does this work both ways. I entered into a 3 yr contract, broadband costs fall from other providers, and...
Mr Gulzar should perhaps do a bit of background reading:
Market change is one of the most common causes for contract disputes. When the promisor finds that market dynamics work against him and the contract is no longer profitable, he will naturally seek to escape from the obligation. If he is foolish enough to repudiate the contract, the promisee can easily terminate the contract.
If his views have been accurately reported, then I do wonder what sort of business world he inhabits. Not a real one I suggest, and don't get me started on ethics!0 -
I have just checked other isp's fair use policies
SKY = NONE but warned if you download large files 24/7 you will be warned
AOL = SAME
TALKTALK = NONE outside peak hours
so why a measly 40GB ??
Anyway are we missing the fact that we had a contract for UNLIMITED with a FUP same as the above. Not 40,80 or even 120 GB but unlimited.0 -

they tried the other isp's fair use policy excuse with me saying that they all have limits in the small print.0 -

I managed to get my MAC code off RedTen last week, would it be worth posting my feedback on how? It's not sensational or anything
P.s. Benji, I do appreciate the feedback0
