Thank you so much for your comments and anything that you can do to help the plight of 10000+ REDTEN customers.
I for one had tried to locate an email address for you but alas I could not find it, I most certainly wasn't knocking you!
Like others posters as well, I just couldn't understand why it seemed that nobody was willing to lend an ear to our fight against this horrendous situation.

The bottom line for me is that my Internet was cut off through no fault of my own and that the company that was supposed to be supplying it, couldn't be bothered to even drop me an email to tell me what was going on. To this day I have had ZERO correspondence from REDTEN about what is happening, everything I know has come through YOUR forums from
other REDTEN customers.

I think it absolutely disgraceful that the owners of this dreadful company have so far been allowed to virtually get away with treating their customers in this fashion by all the industry bodies that are supposed to prevent this sort of thing happening.

You are the FIRST to offer a hand to try and sort this mess out and I for one can not thank you enough

Cheers mate! :T

I just emailed Martin as well.

Thanks for the post Martin.

I don't think most people think you can read every post (I have enough problems following one thread like this).

My redten emails seem to be connecting now but I haven't received an email since I got a read reciept from Nick Davies at Clode. Sent myself an email from another account and it has still not come through. I think their emails are still having problems.

I have complained to the ASA and I am going through the process of putting a complaint through Trading Standards.

I have only emailed Clode and Redten before, with no response, so now I write.

Chins up, this could make a great reality TV show....take 12 broadband users, take away thier broadband and watch them slowly go mad....or ease their reliance on the computer???? Are redten doing us a favour? Showing us how the world will be after the Appocalypse (or however it is spelt).

Hums.......I WANNA GET OUTA THIS PLACE, IF ITS THE LAST THING I EVER DO.

Nightnight

YEY Martins Here,
If he chats about this on GMTV we might get somewhere as the old maxim 'all publicity is good publicity' don't work for this shower.
Anyway, in the same boat as the rest of you, but at home on Disability Living Allowance due to spinal problems (had surgery, slowly recovering), don't get out much and the Internet provides me with the chance to 'go' shopping, keep up with old mates, game playing and all that. Well it did in the past, but now?
So,
Complaints have gone in to the following
1) Ofcom
2) Trading Standards / Consumer Direct
3) Advertising Standards Authority
4) Financial Ombudsman Service
5) Watchdog @ BBC

What else can we do?

• Right folks, gotta go --friends made me a lovely coffee --so speak tomorrow.

Good to see you're going to get involved Martin.

Whilst I'm sure you're not happy about reading some of the comments may I point out page 55 to you, where I believe this thread was mentioned to your staff and they agreed to get the right people to look into it. That was over a week ago so please don't say things like:

"This is the first I or any member of my team has heard"

Also on this subject Martin, many of my posts were removed for simply suggesting that we contact Watchdog. MSE has not provided me a reason for these posts being removed despite me asking numerous times. In fact the posts where I asked why they were being deleted were deleted so I'm still not sure why they were and I guess MSE doesn't want to share the reason.

First of all can you let me know which member of my team said that (sadly page 55 doesn't work as a reference; as it depends on how your screen is set up - i only have 51 pages - you need to give me a post number :) ). It may be that the abuse team have been here - that's slightly seperate - to be honest I was talking about my editorial team (the MoneySaving team).

As for deleting your posts. I have no idea why that was done, but I can assure you it wouldn't be because you mentioned complaining to watchdog - a programme I've been on many times myself and have long standing relationship with!

post 1090 by Edinburghlass,
Nothing illegal about you organising what you like but MSE is not the platform for posting about it as this is a private site. I have emailed MS Towers and asked if someone from the research team can look into this on Tuesday for the many Redten users.

Seeing as it's just been mentioned that we've hit 100 pages I would assume that you have double the posts per page that we have, therefore would it not be around page 26/27??? To save you looking, here it is:
Given the VERY large numbers of posts/people discussing redten I would be hugely greatful if you could escalate this issue to Martin.

As for my posts being deleted, that's really another issue so don't want to clog up this thread with it. If your team had a reason for it I'm sure they would've posted it in a reply to one of my many questions about it.
