Just spoke to someone at Redten, who informed me that the have capped the service at 5Gb, although they are looking to increase this to 15Gb.
Not sure how this works with their T&Cs. Surely they are in breach of contract by not providing the service as advertised.0 -
If their "looking at moving the cap to 15GB" is as effective as them returning calls, I for one am not holding my breath!!0

spoke to bt marker helpdesk and to Murphx - theres nothing they can do period as if they remove the tag their in breach of contract with their customer
so btwholesale supply murphx who supply njp services who supply redten
and ofcom couldn't give a toss
so basically we are all reliant on redten0 -

we bought an unlmited service. we will accept nothing less.
Its like signing a car lease for a mercedes and finding one morning the lease company replaced it with a skoda.
they are offering only a different product to the one we bought.
and they are doing it to save themselves money.0 -

As stated by others. I couldnt care less if it was 15gb or 50gb. I am paying for unlimited access and that isnt what I am getting.

doesnt matter what their t and c. Consumer credit act, sale of goods act et al supercede any legal agreement involving a consumer.
Bottom line their in breach of contract for providing a different service and failing to give notice as required by statute. Ring consumer direct and follow their instructions to the letter! 08454 0405060 -

This is a case of millionaires cutting costs breaching agreements and the law and its the poor disabled tied in i feel most sorry for as they can't migrate/get another line etc and pay clode.
Do redten care about those innocent people? They dont give a toss.
It the legal bills get too high the company will be put into administration and one of the abbas family or friends will buy the assets from the administrators for penuts.
And the millionaires walk away while the disabled users we've heard from on benefit sit unable to contact the outside world.0 -

Is there a pattern on the times they pickup the phone or do they pickup the phone at random times of the day?0
