    I don't expect the phone calls to be over about 30 quid. Money well spent IMO seeing as I can now switch to something cheaper!

    Not sure how long Redten will be around, I have paid them approx 360 pounds for a pc and approx 17 months broadband. The pc probably cost around that price so if people leave then that's the end for Redten.

    Guys, forget calling Redten, such a waste of time that was! Call Clode, give them your details to pass onto Redten, wait 48 hours for the reply then chase up if need be.

    Well done benjimoron. You more than deserve it! As I've not been transferred to NJP yet either I hope i can get the same arrangement. I'm waiting for the MAC request I submitted to RT to pass the 5 day mark (for an extra bit of ammo) before I phone Clode though.

    Not sure who he is, don't you mean obiwan?

    Either way I'm on mobile broadband so I can still access most stuff reasonably quickly!

    Not really a star wars fan tho, more a fan of giving stick to ISPs that give out free PCs!!!

    Yep, only difference between you and me is the amount I've badgered them, which shouldn't make any difference to the situation. You should all expect Redten's decision to be that you can be released from contract. Absolutely no reason why not.

    Clode should also have no reason not to contact Redten for you, they did for me so they should for everyone else. Give them reasonable time to get the answer tho as they may get a few calls.

    I would call now if I were you, Redten can't have an endless pot of money (they have to pay Clode back when cancelling the agreement) so the sooner the better, I'm sure you understand why!

    I have my MAC already, not sure if it works but don't see why not as it hasn't been given to NJP yet and BT said it was valid until 4/4.

    clode just argued that nothing they can do and insisted theres nothing they can do and redten is who i have to speak to i pointed out unacceptable and she said ring redten only they can release me am on phone to redten am annoyed now as clode didnt listen a word i had to say they reckon redten are answering phone and dont bother ringing clode about it if i want to take legal action then go ahead and dont advise me to cancell payment as well said in a very well if you do youll get charged !!!
