I am still trying to track down a copy of the Redten terms and conditions for the early customers. I signed in Jan 2007. If anybody who signed up around that time has saved a copy of the t&c's, please could you post them on this site.

Thanks to those nice people at archive.org, you can get the old t&cs online at http://web.archive.org/web/20070115052624/www.redteninternet.com/pdf/Redten_terms_and_conditions.pdf
or, if you really want to get even more depressed, read all the promises from RT's original website at http://web.archive.org/web/20061108110648/http://www.redteninternet.com/
    Of interest may be:
'Section 5 - Provision of a free PC'
    and:
'Sections 7.4/7.5' to do with capping including '...we will not apply a limit without giving you prior notice...'

Hope you don't all exhaust your 5Gb downloading the t&cs!

(It can sometimes take a couple of refreshes to get the archive.org pages, presumably while some wizended old archivist dusts down the old pages before presenting them.)

    1. Is anyone ringing redten, NPJ or clode tommorow?
    2. Is anyone requesting MAC codes tommorow? If so from NPJ or RT?

If anyone is ringing RT, NPJ or CLODE tommorow please post the outcome in this forum so we can keep up to date!

    3. To the moderators; if I wanted to setup a mailing list to discuss a campaign aganist RT how could I word my request to ask people in this forum to join it without falling foul of forum rules?

    Thanks every1

I intend to contact RT tomorrow for my MAC, I wanted to go with o2 as I have heard some very good reviews, but they are not available in my area so going with BT.

Does anyone know how this works:-
RT have 5 days to produce my MAC once I have requested, but RT's t's & c's say that I must give 6 weeks notice.
say for example, I contact them tomorrow and request my MAC, I get my MAC on friday and sign up with BT online, providing my MAC to them. Is there anything else I need to do?
I know that I will still be paying Clode £19.99.

Do you think that RT could use the t's & c's as a reason to not provide the MAC for 6 weeks?

any info much appreciated, I'll let you know how I get on.

Slow as hell for me, hence why I tried to buy a bolt on - just writing a formal complaint - might as well do everything by the book
