Yep, I can confirm that they now put the premium rate message on All three access numbers.

About time, at least now people are alerted to it.

/me waits for the alternative numbers/providers to come out of the woodwork :)
  • orange can't just change their tc's without written warnings....if they do that then i'll be within my rights to cancel my contract with them....even though i've only been with them for 2 months :-)
i spoke to orange cs and the guy said from 8th april 07744 number will be charged at 50p/min... what a joke!
  • I have tried the Simply Fone and the Worldnet number from my Orange phone. It works fine when i call a international landline, but fails to work when i call a international mobile (Spain) when i press the # key at the end nothing happens when you are calling another mobile.

Is this a drawback of the service provided be Simply Fone & Worldnet?
  • tel69,
IIRC you could never use the SF number from your mobile to call Spanish mobiles. This info is on their page which is currently undergoing maintenance.
...and then the window licker said to me...

Orange has refused to honor OVP Tmobile for calling cards. They claim OVP is for only regular charges. Though my legal view point varies on it.

They say OVP only matches the overall tariffs and there is something called Netork related charges which overrides OVP!! That is something which is debatable. Well I will debate this legally when my bill arrives!!

Timmybest if you're moving to an OVP plan, I think you'll still have the problem, as udydudy says.

If you are thinking of switching networks, it's quite possible that the other networks will do this soon, so keep an eye on things.
