Well... I have just spent ALL morning reading through diaries. Am all caught up now, but feel like the morning has been a little wasted, although I have managed to approve my personal tax return so my accountant can submit it, shift some pots into the garden, wash my bed sheets (and they're dry!!!!) and remake the bed.
So not really a dud morning, I just feel like it has as I've been in front of the computer for several hours!
I need to have a shower now and head to Wimbledon. I'm a gamesmaker there... did my first shift yesterday - it was fun, although a significant amount of the shift was spent standing on Court 1 in the pouring rain!! I didn't see any play, unfortunately, as by the time they went back on in the evening I'd been rotated to a different area, off the courts. Fingers crossed I'm luckier today.
Have been having a very, very spendy month, booking stuff for Brazil, I've bought lots of new clothes, and I had some professional photographs taken... please don't ask me how much that cost, but they look great! I'm not looking forward to doing my accounts next weekend.
Right, I hope everyone is good! I need to get moving now, otherwise I'll be lateBorrowed £150,000 in an offset tracker mortgage in May 2007 - MFD May 2041 (67)

Hello! Just thought I'd pop in to say I'm having a fantastic time as a Games Maker at Wimbledon... had the most amazing day on Wed, watching Lleyton Hewitt go down fighting to Djokovitch... from the Royal Box!!!!!!
Yes, you did read that correctly.
Also caught up with Hurdler and we had a lovely gossip and watched the Sharapova match together. Definitely a day to remember
We have such a lovely little community here, it's nice to have made a friend from this site.
In two weeks today I'll be flying out to Brazil... scary thought!! We're all nearly organised. I have a wedding next Monday, and I think I'm pretty sorted for that, although I need to purchase some bridget jones pants in order to fit into the dress I want to wear!!
I hope everyone else is going well!Borrowed £150,000 in an offset tracker mortgage in May 2007 - MFD May 2041 (67)

Oh dear
I have gone backwards with my mortgage payments, and I will now be mortgage free in Sept 2032 rather than July 2032.
One of the reasons is that I spent around £1000 getting things ready for my lodger, but I haven't been paid yet.... but even with that additional money I would be standing still, not getting the MF date any nearer.
So I'm really not sure what has gone wrong! I must have done some incorrect calculations somewhere, or spend more than I thought I did on the flat over the last few months.
On the bright side, although my MF date has shifted out slightly, I have made a minimal inroad into the overall total outstanding, so my LTV has still decreased, by about 0.17%!!!Borrowed £150,000 in an offset tracker mortgage in May 2007 - MFD May 2041 (67)

Sounds like a miscalculation never mind surely the income from the lodger will make a difference and also even if it doesn't you will still have this improvements you have made. How's the gardening going this sunny weather is really perking my veg up no end.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Hi Tallgirl,
Yes, my courgette are finally producing something and I've had a few beans! However it is a very poor year in the garden generally.
Have had another busy and spendy week... had a wedding on Monday, which was lovely. It was up in Southend, so a friend and I went up a night early and had fun on the rides on Sunday evening. We went on the dodgems and the crocodile rollercoaster and walked to the end of the pier! Was great fun.
Today I'm doing a few chores around the house, and also need to go through all my travelling gear and see if I need to buy anything else tomorrow before I leave on Friday.
I did some washing this morning and hung it on the line... and it promptly started to rain!! typical!Borrowed £150,000 in an offset tracker mortgage in May 2007 - MFD May 2041 (67)

Tell me about it... I mean what am I meant to make with just onions and tiny marrows! Even the winter crops are being munched by something and the peas were trampled on when we had the fence replaced.MFW: Nov 2008 £156k, Jun 2015 £129k, Jun 2017 £114k.0 -
Well guys, I'm pretty much all organised for my trip to Brazil. I leave tomorrow morning... yay!
It's been a busy day... I took the cat to the vet for a check-up after her tooth removal last week, and then went to the dentist. They forgot to send me a reminder to go at the beginning of the year, so it's been 18 months  however there were no problems, I just had an xray and a clean.
Bought some cheap strawberries this afternoon, so have been making jam this evening! It didn't setI think the lemon juice from concentrate I have doesn't have a lot of pectin in it, and I didn't have any jam making sugar to give it a boost. However even if it's too runny to eat on toast, it will still be lovely in porridge in winter.
I could take my luggage with me as carry on! I'm really wondering what I've forgotten! The weather forecast in Brazil is showing mid to high 20s for the next 10 days, so I've taken mostly summer clothes. I guess they're just not very bulky.
Bit stressed about money. My friend who is already there had $1400 stolen out of her account as her debit card was clonedfingers crossed it won't happen to me! I've got about £2K spending money, I just hope that is sufficient.
I hope everyone has a MS few weeks, and I'm looking forward to telling you all about my trip when I'm backBorrowed £150,000 in an offset tracker mortgage in May 2007 - MFD May 2041 (67)
