The washing has dried! I'll get it off after I finish this post.
I got my quarterly mortgage statement yesterday, and it's looking very cheerful
I now owe 122,901.88, and have a LTV of 66%. In the last quarter, I have been reducing the capital by £900 a month, through regular payments, OPs and offsetting, so I'm very pleased.
The next couple of months won't be as good as I have had to spend quite a bit on getting the flat ready for my lodger. But once he has been staying here for a few months then the rate should start coming down very steadily!
In other news, I did the wheel at yoga for the first time on Thursday night. Very exciting! I've been doing yoga off and on for the last 8 years, and the wheel has been my nemisis! I think the previous time I did it was when I was 8 at primary school!Borrowed £150,000 in an offset tracker mortgage in May 2007 - MFD May 2041 (67)

Just had to google it. I can sort of see it is possible to hold the position but I would need a crane to get me in it :rotfl:.

lol... who would have thought a high phone bill was for the greater public good?!
It wasn't too high - just £12 - 13 over what it normally is - not too worried really, and now I've learned the hard way that I only have 300 txts I'll be a bit more careful.
The dress won't be on e-bay because I have duck disease and I want to get a dress from my favourite petite designer, Karen Gillam.
I LOVE this dress: http://www.karengillam.co.uk/index.php/dresses/jacqui-o-dress-tulip-print.html
But think this one is probably more practical considering the direction my weight has been going this year (UP!) http://www.karengillam.co.uk/index.php/dresses/lucille-dress.html
Although she does occasionally put stock on sale, I've never seen either dress discounted.
I do have two other lovely frocks I could wear to this wedding, but it's a colleague, and I'm sure I wore one to a Christmas party a few years ago, and I wore the other to a wedding in Australia 18 months ago, and they might have seen photos. This dress is a halter-neck, so OK for a wedding in Australia, but may be a bit chilly for June in England, even with a cardigan!
Should I take the risk, or just use the excuse to buy _another_ pretty frock?!
All the shorties out there, check out Karen's site... I love her clothes and it is SO nice to have something arrive in the post and have a reasonable expectation that it will both fit AND look good!Borrowed £150,000 in an offset tracker mortgage in May 2007 - MFD May 2041 (67)
