absolutely agree with the advice on here and have to say the people Ive spoken to at Sky have been so nice, they were friendly, courteous and professional and couldnt have been more helpful, dont want to teach my grandmother to suck egss as I know you are all already polite and friendly when you call them, so maybe it is much more to do with timing and the quota of offers they can give, like the sound of the M&S vouchers though! Ive always been really happy with Sky service and never had an issue (touch wood!) so am happy Im able to stay with them without having to downgrade my package as I first feared ...or rather my hubby and kids did!

Think I know the answer already, but when switching from Sky + box to Sky HD box is there AN EASY way of transfering recorded content?
I have seen software that can be used, but involves removing the hard drive from the boxes
I'm guessing there is no easy way, or is there.... !!0 -

just had a look online and my discount has come off for next month:T shame im still being charged for a phone line i dont have 5 months down the line after cancelling! they really are useless at times! just spent another 20 mins of my life on the phone to them! and they now say its sorted! but will only refund when the cancellation is complete!:mad:0 -
Tried to get Sky to upgrade by 10 year old Sky box to a Sky+ box, was told that they now only do Sky+HD boxes, and the cheapest offer is £60 IF I take out a HD subscription, something I have no intention of doing, or "considerably more" if I have it without a sub.
Ridiculous that they are pretty much trying to force HD onto people! I will upgrade when HD is free (ie part of the basic sub, not an extra charge) and standard, not paying monthly for the privilege, their prices are already high enough as it is.We have removed your signature - please contact the forum team if you are not sure why - Forum Team0 -
