Wow that's really good. I'm not sure what to do at the moment. Our Sky box keeps playing up and is not an HD box. I'd like an HD box, but don't want to upgrade to the HD package as can't afford the extra £10 per month, so am shopping about a bit for best solutions.

If you're anywhere near manchester I've got two spare boxes!

Has anyone on the half price for a year plus £50 M&S vouchers deal actually received the vouchers yet? I can't remember (if I was ever told) how many months you have to wait for the vouchers.
    Tks if you can help

If you've only been with them for 2 months then the chances of them giving a you a better deal are zero. They know you are effectively theres for another 10 months. Ring when you've 'served your time' and the result will be wholly more pleasurable.

ok i have sky+ at mo in my husbands name, but he has now left but they wouldnt change the name. we now have a sony hd tv, and i want to upgrade to the hd box bot without the hd subscription. was thinking of cancelling my sky+ in my name and starting anew thus getting the sky+hd box as they give that one to you whatever package you order. i just dont want to have to wait without sky for however long they take. also another plus is that my current sky+ box is 80gb whereas the new hdsky+ is 250gb.

what shall i do? cancell? or just threaten?

does anyone know what i should do for the best deal? i have been with them for 14 years and never had a freebie off them and i have full package

Hmm, I'm interested in this. My Mum is a sky subscriber, in a rural area where TV reception is impossible except by satellite dish now. Don't know exactly what package she has, I know she doesn't subscribe to Movies, but does get Sport 1 & 2 (an unusual mix for a lady of 80, but it makes her happy).

She's been a Sky TV subscriber for 3 or 4 years now. Should we give them a call to see if we can get her bills down a bit?
I try not to get too stressed out on the forum. I won't argue, i'll just leave a thread if you don't like what I say. :)

I would, I have had a few things from Sky (over the years free box repair X 2 after saying no to £80 callout, New box and few discounts) you NEVER get anything unless you call them.
