Sky offer to me (existing Customer)

I've just rung Sky. Saw this on HDUK a few months back but never got round to ringing.

As OP, offered me 50% off TV package saving me £25.50 a months for 6 months. Told me to ring again in 5 months and they will probably be able to offer me something else when it runs out!

Well I just rung up to cancel Sky Sports and enquired about HD Box. They said they could give me the box with installation for a grand total of


£199.00!!

I asked the woman how she has come up with that price when there are so many other prices around she said that is the price....I too don't get how they come up with their prices. I have had sky for 11 years and have had hardly any deals out of them and certainly never had half price Sky!!

i also rang them about 7 months agao and said iw as going to cancel - came up with needing to cut costs etc and they gave me my package for 6 months half price - without even having to argue! back upto normal this month - but was wondering if i should try again and say i still cant justify the costs and see if i can get another 6 months half price again lol - cheeky but hey if they had stricter guidelines .....

wish there was one of those half price deals around. Sky isn't in my area so is £17pm for broadband + line rental. Ouch.

Afternoon All,

I called Sky on Wednesday & was offered a Sky+HD box & instalation FREE, just had to agree with a 12 month contract (I pay £24 a month) This was the 3rd call I had made, the first offered me the deal forn £99 + £60, the second a Free box & £30 ins & the third compleatly free :j :j :j......... so if you don't get the offer you want, call back later & try again!
The lovely guy from sky came this morning so we are up & running already!
