Sky offer to me (existing Customer)
Comments

I just rung them and was offered 6 months free for sky hd if i paid £15 for installation. I quoted the virgin offer and was told i couldn't get it in my area, so i wouldn't be able to get it. I might call back and get the hd as my husband really fancies it.Treat others how you would like to be treated.0

I might be stating the obvious (and apologies to you if I am) but 50% for 6 months is the same as 25% for 12.
yes i know BUT if i took the 12 months i would of had to go to contract , and we are saving for the freeview hd + box as its cheaper in the long run so in 6 months we will be cancelling sky thats why it was better for me , and saving me £60 towards my freeview boxDont forget that little Thanks button , only takes a sec0 -
I have just rang on behalf of my Mum, got 1/2 price for 6months. Just said I wanted to cancel as been made redundant (true) and needed to cut down expenditure after Christmas.Born and bred in Manchester (proud of it)

Was this as a new customer or are you already with Sky?
Also, generally those that are getting HD upgrades free / 6 months ½ price, is it self install or engineer visit - or are you given the option?0 -
Would you mind telling us what your subscription is and how much you're paying please?
I don't have their broadband or calls but will try for permanent too, if you hear some mocking laughing that'll be the sky representative laughing at me.
£22 for full package excluding sports. Free HD. £5 for free calls 24/7. Free broadband. £10 line rental. £5 multiroom. When I switched to HD I had the box and installation for free.0 -

If I were any of you I'd wait a few weeks. Because of this thread they're probably being bombarded with calls. As I've told you earlier, they only get a certain number of tidy deals they can offer each week for a few days. Once these have gone they can't offer so much. Doesn't take a genius to work out that phoning when this hysteria has died down you will get a better deal. Don't you think it's a coincidence everyone is being offered 6 months half price or free and the odd person is getting nothing?0 -
Don't try haggling for tv, broadband and calls all in one go, space them out and you'll have a better chance. This isn't really a quick grabbit while you can because the other thread with exactly the same posts has been running for over 5 years. So don't all panic that it'll go because it won't.0

I am not sure but as i was told a £15 installation fee i would expect an engineer.
I just rung back though and told them i was cutting my bills down and was offered the 6 months half price:j. So i am happy, although i wasn't allowed the HD offer on top of that but he did tell me to ring back in 4 months to add the HD on. I am an existing customer out of contract and with tv( with all 6 entertainment pack), broadband and phone, i do not have the movies or sports.
