  • Eeeekkk. Just checked out jarr's posts and it would appear that he/she is in the habit of posting inflammatory comments in order to illicit a response. Angry angry person so my original replay will be edited. Why feed the troll?

What number have you guys been using to call? Is there a landline number (eg 0207) that you can call from a mobile that is not going to cost?

    Thanks to the OP :)

Don't suppose anyone who has recently cancelled has got a good return offer have they? I cancelled mine in Nov/Dec but I miss it more than i thought I would. Can't get Virgin tv in my area and the freeview channels aren't really great imo. I miss Sky One so only option is to put up with not having it or return to Sky.
Herman - MP for all! :)
  • I am with Virgin and perfectly happy with the service. However, always looking to save money in these times. I currently pay around 75 quid a month for broadband, phone (free calls all day every day) and TV (highest package with sports but NOT movies) ... what is the equivilent for sky ...

Ok i know this is slightly off topic but intrigued to know what packages are getting the half price offer ... i think i may try virgin later to see if i can get some money off ...

I actually had an email before christmas, offering me any sky tv package half price for 12 months if I rejoined and used my old box, if I recall correctly that ended on the 24th of Dec but you could call and ask about it surely?

Editted: I actually left in Febuary, would of taken up the offer but I moved in with my other half and the sky is in his name now.

Sounds similar to what we have with Sky.. £10 Broadband, £16 (unlimited calls to UK landlines 24/7) and 1/2 price Sports and 2 mixes now at £20 (was £40 before the phone call, thanks OP ) for 6 months-no new contract etc..so around £46 for 6 months if you get the 1/2 price offer then £66 without. hth.

Law phoned then whilst we were over and managed to upgrade his package at a reduced rate, he was very happy
