I'm good thanks. I did a similar thing myself - worked out exactly what i needed to achieve my goal of summer 2012 and it's going to be almost impossible but I think if I slacken it then I will lose the drive and focus to get it done. It's good you are thinking like you are as now you can identify if you are coasting or being hard on yourself thinking that and do what needs doing to make it right.
We will get there, one day at a time!

Just reading Kat's comment has made me think. My aim for the big finale is to have a place on the debt free roll of honour board and I often think what I would write on there. This may sound silly but it really does help keep me going when the moment needs it.
So what I have been thinking about is: I have many moments of reflection when I am on my own - and I am not joking when I say moments alone are in the shower etc lol as with 2 kids, hubby, dog and lots of family plus full time work i don't seem to get time alone. All of these reflection thoughts I would like to capture and keep a mini diary of them as when I come to be debt free I never want to take what I have been through and the fact I am debt free for granted.
This weekend I am going to think over what's changed since LB moment and on Monday will put them in sparkly colours in my diary for me to come back to once debt free. I would like to do this fairly regularly and then combine them on my DF roll of honour post when I get there.
I think as an example my first thoughts are appreciating everything I buy now and really considering do i need it before buying something.

Happy Monday!
£1.42 paid to Cap1 this morning.
Accounts looking ok, food in the cupboards, petrol in the car. Presents bought (with cash) and wrapped - ready for tea party tonight for DD's 4th birthday. today has started off well.
Going to update spreadsheet and see how much interest that £1.42 saves me LOL.

Thanks Woo
Right - all birthday payments made so no more birthday spends. She's having a lovely time bless her.
We're going away in april and I have no summer clothes for me or the kids (DD don't fit her from last year - they grow so quick! and DS is only 8 months old so wasn't here lol). Also for me I threw virtually all of my clothes out when pregnant as didn't like them/didn't fit etc and promised myself this year to get things that suited me and not cos they were on offer!
So I have budgetted £150 for the food for the hols as self catering and the new clothes for us all - tight!!!! It's a self catering hol but we'll eat out on a night which hubby will prob pay for but need everything else and back up meal for night just in case.
Will start preps now.
I also want to but the kids easter things early so it's not a lst min dash ending up in expensive things as they's all can get hold of!

Hey DF,
Glad to hear birthday is going well. How was your trip to York? Did you manage to get away? The winds up with me were unbelievable, trees donwn everywhere - scary stuff!
Thats also great news about the qualification you will be doing - good luck with that.
are you heading anywhere nice in April? I've got a week off at the end of the month and am thinking about it. I have a concert to go to which was booked many months ago so am excited about that.
Well done with the Cap 1 payments
