  • Hey DF,

Well done on all the payments. Its a great idea paying it off bit by bit and as you say you feel like you are doing something in between the big payments :)

Whats your plan for Next? Are you paying a set amount off it each month until August?

    :) x

    Hi Guys

    Awww thanks :)
    I am on a mission!!!!

Re Next - I have a worksheet dedicated to each debt in my spreadsheet and they all follow the same format of column showing balance, min payment and standard overpayment. For next I want to pay £100 a month to it regardless of balance so my overpayment column is £100 - the min payment column so always totals the £100.

Lol - that's the long winded answer, I'm making fixed payment of £100 a month and not spending on it at all.

Same for Virgin, EVIL CAP1 and Tesco CC's - fixed payments each month of £150, £200 and £60 respectively. Then I make my daily payments when I can.

I have just tried to pay money into the post office (they put it into lloyds bank account without probs) but they didn't have paying in slips and I didn't realise needed them as bank just use debit card plus they said will take while to process so not doing that - will just go to bank after work.

It's the holiday money I am trying to pay in from DH so I can pay it off. Bless him - he's bought me some sunbed minutes as i mentioned was going to get some and he said he bought them "just cos" - how sweet!!!!

  • Not alot to report today. No payments until tomorrow as been at conference until now and I can't be bothered to do anything.

We're definitely getting bonus and I have no idea of exact % but we've been hinted at. I may get around £800 after tax say £600. Of that I promised DH I would put something to the new sofa - don't know how much yet. Would love to just pay it all off debt - will see what I get and go from there.

I hope one day to treat the family to a lovely holiday if we get another bonus!

Deposit on holiday paid (DH gave me the money but I do the paying etc) and Cap1 is showing all payments processed.

Apart from that there's nothing new.

    Feeling very lethargic!
