Great news on the bonus DF, it will be nice to keep a little something back for a treat though - the road to financial freedom is a long one after all!LBM Aug 09: £18,650.47 - Current: £12,854.93 (£5946.79)

I agree with Woo, you have to allow a treat where possible. I'm ok thanks DF - tired at the mo, think the late night working with early rises are catching up with me, it's worth it though

I will treat myself to an outfit i think, nothing expensive and flash - just an every day something i feel nice in. That will benefit me more than something that won't last. Will work out how much when I know figures from work.
£1.72 paid to EVIL CAP1 today.

Have been thinking over the weekend about what i will treat myself too from above. I need to think practically though which is something you wouldn't have found me doing pre LBM.
I do need new slippers lol, some nice new underwear too (don't i sound boring). I would like an outfit so have been looking online planning one or 2 this weekend. Again, before I would have gone out and bought anything that caught my eye, ending up with things that didn't match and something that i liked but had nothign to wear it with and it'd have stayed in wardrobe for a year with tags on etc. Shocking I know but this is one thing that has changed on my DF journey.
Also when I am DF I am only going to deal in cash where appropriate. I refuse to ever have the worry of using debit card and hoping it clears the payment (even though I know I have the money now, I still get the jitters when waiting for it to process - a long term effect of not having money and being turned down when trying to pay.
In fact - I mostly use cash now - this was an unexpected spend which I am kicking myself over. I guess there's always a limit to how much you can plan and how organised I can be.
Off to check accounts,

The holiday remaining balance is due on Friday! I didn't realise as thought would pay on arrival or something - didn't even think! DUH ME!
We haven't been away for ages so not used to the processes and it may be obvious to others but slipped my mind. So annoyed as I don't have the cash til a week later. OH is paying for bulk of it but they are charging for dog and electricity etc so I said I'd pay that and don't have it.
Sent them an email to ask if they will wait and await their reply. If they say ok, all will be well, if they say not ok - deep doo doo that I can do without.
Rest of accounts looking ok though.

Oh no!! Sorry to hear about your pickle. Hope they will be understanding (especially as they are getting the bulk of it, if it's just the dog and electricity then they should see reason) xLoan - [STRIKE]£6991.95[/STRIKE]£6180.01; Barclays Res - [STRIKE]£600[/STRIKE] £0 - £22 per week , NWB Grad O/D - [STRIKE]£1185[/STRIKE] £887.86 18.28% SWALEC - [STRIKE]£700[/STRIKE] £0 NPOWER [STRIKE]£220[/STRIKE] £0 Kays - [STRIKE]£591.28[/STRIKE] £0 TOTAL DEBT - [STRIKE]£10,288.23[/STRIKE] £7,000.01 31.96 % Paid off. I really hope they will be okay about it. There is no reason why they shouldnt be as it is only a week!
Fingers, thumbs, legs, arms etc are all crossed for you for good luck.
Great news that the rest of the accounts are looking good - you are doing so well x:beer:LBM - JUNE 2010 - [STRIKE]£27,108[/STRIKE] £23,682 (as at 1st Apr 11)

Hi guys - thanks so much for positive thoughts. That's what I was thinking too.
Waiting with baited breath on their reply!!!! If they don't reply will have to ring them tomorrow.
I have been SOOO tempted to spend on CC - such as for this, and other bits and pieces that would have made it so much easier to put on CC but I haven't! I am quietly pleased about it but realise there's many more temptations to come over the next year or so.
I think I will cut up the Cap1 card seen as they won't let me close the account.

Morning All!
Still no reply so will call this afternoon if heard nothing by then.
I love my car !!!! I should have got petrol yesterday but waited until this morning and was sure I'd be pushing it but it kept me going right up until this morning. I have put £15 in which I hope lasts me until Friday - will be tight.
Next month I am going to treat it to a full tank of petrol.
When I am DF I look forward to putting a full tank of petrol in every time it reaches a quarter instead of only keeping it at a quarter max! This is going on my list.
People tell me to sell it as it's old and doesn't look the biz but that will not happen for a long time yet!
