Hi, looking to buy 2 phones on contract and would like HTC Desire, but cannot see any deals for £20 per mth with free phone. Would we be better waiting until after Xmas and see if there are any deals on then? Not that experienced in buying mobiles. Never bought a phone at Xmas before so not sure whether you can barter or not. Went into carphonewarehouse today but all they did was suggest the Wildfire, but the Desire deffo looks better. Any pointers gratefully received.

Wildfire is good phone but its budget range . HTC up at the top of the smart-phone list with Galaxy s and Iphone .

afordable mobiles do them on tmobile, £19.17 mnthby redemption or basically £20, 300 xnet mins, unlimted txt 250mb data and free fone and free delivery.

if you sign up to top cash back aswell and order on there site you get £40 back

and they do credit check while you wait and give you anwser in 5 mins or sooner

with next day delivery so if you order tonight you will get tues. hurry them offers done stay around for ever

delivery is nextday, via dpd courier service. and they supply track num, and also the credit check is done while you wait after details have been put in, so anything upto 5 mins after filling details in youll know if you getting one

Thanks for advice. Think unlimited internet would be best so will phone T-mobile tomorrow and see what they can do for me - fingers crossed!:T

There's a few deals, mostly on T-Mobile.

There have been some good retention deals on this device, although the new contracts haven't been quite as good, but with the HD out now, the time is right for this to happen.

For a point of reference, 6 months ago with Vodafone I got the phone for free, £20/month for 18 months, 600 mins, UL txts and (now) 1Gb Internet. I seem to remember an even more outstanding retention deal someone else posted a couple of months ago.

You would need internet or the phone is going to be pretty pointless.

This offer may be good for use as bargaining when talking to another provider.

Advantages: This is an 18 month contract which is better than the standard 24 months. Lots of free minutes. 1gb of Internet is as good as most. T-mobile are now sharing with Orange so plenty of coverage.

V excited about this deal. I have been tracking the Desire for weeks as I am coming to the end of a Three contract.
