Oh god, who do they want you to invite then?! Is it easier to just give in on this occassion? Not what you want at the best of times but especially just before xmas

Plans are still slowly getting there...gonna have to set aside some time whilst off work to finish these invitations & book a DJ, think I'm gonna go with the video DJ as he seems more interesting than the rest, & he's only £250! The only concerning thing is he's an agency, I don't know exactly who will be sent out on the day, eek.

Just think in just over a week, we'll be able to say "We get married this year!" :j

I hope you all have a lovely day tomorrow, the OH and I are spending Christmas day together and are then off for a family meal with his side of the family on Boxing Day. I plan on going home after the New Year to hopefully avoid my sister (but that's a rant for the Bridezilla thread! :rotfl:)

And on a final note, remember eat til your stuffed, drink plenty and enjoy the day! :T

Well, we had a fab Xmas... now back onto the wedding planning! Trying to get a few bits tied up whilst we are both off as doesn't happen often. We are writing out evening invites this week and looking at our favour ideas.

Those who have sent invites out - have you had many replies?

I can join this thread now as my OH proposed to me at midnight on Christmas day OMG what a way to start Christmas day off!!!

We are looking to get married in June, I think the 2nd but it's still all a bit of a blur at the minute.

How exciting to think it's only 6 months away!!!

Hope everyone had a fun Christmas

I have eaten waaaaaay too much and when I visit home it'll probably be the same there!

I hope everyone got some lovely presents, I received the most gorgeous card from my OH It's beautiful and it came in it's own box. Also it made me cry as he'd written "Merry Christmas, for one year only, to my fiancee"

However, I need to act fast to get the invitations done and dusted otherwise I'll be a fiancee next Christmas! (If no guests were there, I think I'd turn bridezilla-ish and refuse to get married! :rotfl:) Then again, it could be quite romantic...
